Ok, then don't drink milk. Don't hate an entire group of people just because they're different than you.

Wasn't it you that made fun of them by laughing at a gay people go to the back of the bus joke?

No, you laughed at it, I just tolerated it.

And it was pretty obvious a long time ago that you were homophobic and that it's probably because of religious reasons. You're Christian right?

So you think Christians are supposed to hate gay people?

No.

In fact, I think Christians are supposed to fully accept and love gay people. But that's only true Christians of course.

Love? yes.
Accept? no.
Be a dick about it? no.
Try to change them? yes
speaking of true Christians of course.

And that's where I was trying to get to.

Here's the truth, Christianity is not necessarily against homosexuality. There are lots of Christians who are homosexuals and Churches who perform gay weddings.

Why do you think Christianity is against homosexuality? Because it says so in the Bible?

That's exactly the reason why.

What part of the Bible says so? Because I don't think there is a part of the Bible that says homosexuality is wrong.

You should open up the Bible and start taking your religion seriously.

Most Christians I've talked to at least know one verse from the Bible that they think condemns homosexuality. But it looks like you're a super secular Christian, so let me explain how the Bible works, you must not be familiar with it. Most of the verses "condemning" it are in Leviticus, but they really don't when you consider the context, like you should with everything in the Bible. The Bible says it's ok to enslave your daughter, you should kill your kids for disobeying parents, you should kill someone who eats shrimp or works on the Sabbath, etc.

But Christians don't do all that stuff because they were smart enough to figure out these things don't apply when you look at context and make sure you don't take anything at face value, and same goes with any verses about homosexuality. But to fully understand you should do your own research or watch a documentary on Youtube called "For the Bible Tells Me So."

t
hat was in the old testement, before Jesus Christ came along, so yes people were less important to God's eyes as they didn't have Jesus's blood over them. The generation we live in now is AFTER the new testement so you can't really say things like that because NOWADAYS people don't do that stuff, even though back then they really did.

and hmm apparently you did not read the whole article because in there is a quote from the bible

“…Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortion ers will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

Kind of straight forward don't you think.

but where is this argument taking place? I'm not an ideal Christian, I'm just harsher towards them because I have Korean customs (there are no gay people in Korea). So why try to "convert" me into a gay accepting person?

You're a secular Christian, so you need to be taught alot of things about your religion, and I feel this is something you really should know. 1-Corinthians 6:9 does not mention homosexuality or sodomites, you got that out of an altered version to justify a group of Christians homophobia. Look it up anywhere else. "Homosexuality" is never actually mentioned in the Bible, it's only referred to as "if a man lies with a man the way he lies with a woman." In fact it's impossible for the word "homosexuality" to appear there, because this was supposed to be translated, and the multiple languages beforehand did not have a word for homosexuality, so there's no way that's what the verse says.

Watch the documentary. You'll learn about both the Bible and homosexuality.

Yet homosexuality existed even back then. There are many pagans back then who openly revealed their sexuality. Even if there was no definite word for "homosexuality" the intent on using that definition is still quite clear.

The first important thing to take note of is homosexuality is something natural and cannot be changed. God put it in every animal in the world including humans, so it would be ridiculous for him to create homosexuals then say they shouldn't be homosexuals.

The intent of using whatever original words they used was not to refer to homosexuality. There were no words to describe sexual orientation, it was something not understood at the time, they just described it by referring to the sexual relations. Homosexuality is just what many people want it to simply say. That way their homophobia is justified.

I need to go bed now, all I can say is watch the documentary, just consider what it says.

I nver heard of him before. I never saw the trailer of the movie MILK on tv before.

I don't think I've ever been taught anything about him in school, no. He does sound amazing though.

This is for all the homophobic people -- I'm probably your worst nightmare. I'm a pansexual chick who believes in having multiple sex partners in order to find thyself. So you bring all your little comments right here. Try to change me and see how far you get. Then, when you finally see you aren't getting ANYWHERE, you can try and learn from that.

It is not your job to change anyone. It is not your job to tell me how wrong or right something is. And the sooner you understand that, the better.

I've never heard of him 'til now. (:
He seems ...... like a confident person.
