Best country to live in.. well take the freedom index + the least crime rate + health and well beeing + education % 4 = (best place to live.)

As for an example America is ranked 32 out of all the countries.. So I say far from the best place to live.. But far from a bad place to live.

You want to know the best place to live do the math, and you will know what is the best place to live..

once again...
compares the ranking of the countries.
freedom + Health + Education + crime rate = ??? % 4 = (best place to live.)

See I took out the emotion and used logic to judge it.

Something tells me that even with the mathematics, discounting emotions, it doesn't seem to add up.

Something else tells me that emotions may have some numerical value to apply to the subject of the best country to live in.

Something tells me that if you feel good about where you live, or the populace as a whole feels generally good, then that adds up to a sort of vote tally deciding where the best place to live is.

We can also break it down into different categories, such as which country is the most financially stable, or which has the best educational system, but it still leads to which country has the most good things and of the highest overall quality.

As far as I have seen, Japan seems to be in the lead with education. Then again, Finland may possibly be better.

China and Japan own the largest chunk of America's national debt, so that seems the stabilize them financially all the more, as they keep buying out the dollar to make their currencies more valuable.

If we wanted to live in a country with the least crime, such as homicide, it might be Monaco or Austria or perhaps Berkina Faso.

Overall, it looks like Japan might be the best place to live (not due to a high opinion of anime and manga), but of how well many of the people there conduct themselves. There is true discipline, though not perfect, of course. We can't forget the Yakuza, which does, in fact, exist legally in Japan.

I will never call the United States anywhere near the best country to live in, due to the fact that it is technically a failed state.

The United Kingdom has a relatively low taxation. They come asking for something like 9% and then leave you alone, at least that is what I've heard. So long live the queen to that.

So Japan ranks higher than us eh? That does it, I really am moving there some day. Despite the fact that I think that this is more of a subjective concept.

What about the countries that ranks higher than Japan?
Why not move to any of those instead?

Because I like the idea of Japan better. I wouldn't make any major life decision based on something like this.

This is very subjective.
I have lived in a few countries and personally prefer the USA.

^ word.

For me, the best country would have its government provide healthcare for all its people. Higher education (college, postgrad) would not be a premium (i.e., affordable for even the plebeians). Art would be promoted just as much STEM. An excellent public transportation system. Only one election every X number of years for all elected officials.
