Because they're not constantly campaigning against Japan, you are. There's nothing wrong with social studies and research on societies, but every country has serious social issues and problems, I can list the same amount of articles and research on any country's problems. But you're the only person constantly campaigning against Japan only for some weird reason. Kim Jong Il probably doesn't campaign against Japan as much as you do.

Then can you name another country that have the exact same social problems, which caused the nation itself to be the world's second leading economy due to the effect of overspending other than Japan?

I should also question you that being as what they are Japan, as a nation responsible of the world's second large economic power with their technological export industry. What do you think the power vacuum would be like when Japan couldn't sustain their society with their already aging populace(http://www.reuters.com/article/inDepthNews/idUST27061420070921?sp=true)? That's excluding the dying Japanese populace due to rising suicide rate: http://www.espacoacademico.com.br/044/44eueno_ing.htm

And you can stop your silly attempt at calling my concern with Japan as some personal vendetta, for I'm simply not amused.

if japan falls it falls i have learned a long time ago if people don't want help, "even if you try to give to them" just leave them alone. Japan has to learn to deal with it's social issues on it's own and if it can't then it was doomed to fail from the beginning dom. I know that just pisses you off to hear that but well it's the truth, and to answer your question about over spending look at america we are in a hole so deep that if china calls the bill on us i might as well confirm to communism. Here is answer i am sure that you have never heard before most people in japan over worked and very under payed for the services in the job that they do, so it would be hard to bring a child in the world over their and try to do raise it with such a low income (although i am unsure about government aid there) and those that are rich are way to busy to procreate, which they would see a child as a huge burden right now and wait to long to do it. On suicide i have stated before maybe if children where not expected so much of them and see some failures as the end of world (which in most cases that happens) then it would not be so high. I am done ranting and posting for while gtg to work so yeah

You're not amused??? =O

Yeah, it really seems like you're just innocently concerned with Japan and it's problems, out of the goodness of your heart. And even if that was the case, you don't seem to have any real connection with Japan and yet you're so fixated on it. It's a pretty interesting country, but don't get obsessed with it's social and political issues, you should choose something more relevant to you to be concerned with.

The chart is somewhat helpful but it is not enough to pick the "best" country.

I'm concerned that the eventual power vacuum caused by the implosion of the Japanese society will do on a global scale. Just how many industries around the world do you think that depend on Japanese technological exports? And how deeply involved do you think Japanese economy is on a global scale? When Japanese economy is the second largest world economy due to their exporting of technological goods and services.

Our first global recession caused by the failure of the US investment policy, was thankfully adverted due to no small part of the stability within the US society. But while issues with the relatively less stable Japanese society keep mounting themselves over time, the Japanese government have no real interest on addressing those said issues. When they're all focusing on how to overcome their own low birthrate, with even more public overspending on paying families to have more babies: http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/japan/090915/pay-procreate-cash-kids

When their overspending caused their Yen to rise, while they're spending more on themselves to have babies that won't be entering into the workforce for the next 20 years. This is no time for them to be denying immigrants with their current immigration policy, just because their stubbornness and pride making them not accepting foreigners within their society. Their senior dependency is increasing at an alarming rate, while their child dependency stays relatively the same due to less families having less babies.

That was from the Japanese own population projection report conducted by themselves: http://www.ipss.go.jp/pp-newest/e/ppfj02/top.html

I bet you chose Japan because you're hooked by all the K pop and J pop celebrities, or J/K dramas. Am I right? Japan is a very realistic country, if you don't have enough money, then forget about living there.

You know you make a good point there.

I really thought this thread gonna be interesting, some hater screwed it and whining just because can't defense his statement in another thread. Could at least we use this thread as a window to look at the greatness of countries across the world? Not the negative one.
this way, we can learn love from one to another...

Out of curiosity, what's your country's view on sustainable designs?

If you what to know what sustainable designs is, you can have a look here: http://www.inhabitat.com/

BTW, quite a nice place that you got there, I can see houses with a natural/passive ventilation design can do great in that environment: http://www.inhabitat.com/2009/08/14/indonesian-d-minution-house-under-under20k/

hoho~ thanks. I think in some department of government. We're still experimenting the sustainable designs for our populous environment, especially in city. From what I see now, we only keep our green outside the house not inside. Hopefully they will keep this pace until the new development of sustainable designs launch.

Still, we have dirty environment in many parts of Indonesia, so... >_<

Apparently the crazy fangirls are mad at me for spilling this out. I'm not saying Japan is a bad country or whatever, but for them(Yeah, I'm refering to the fangirls who don't have a mind), they'll simply turn into beggars on the streets. It's a country for people who love challenges and businesses. And it's a great place for holiday lovers.

Personally japan is alright to an extent but all the buttbuddying is not so helpful. But I can honestly say that I would love to live in Rio Di Janiero Brazil. That place was fucking outstanding my god the women a truly beautiful. Granted every country has poverty strickened areas.

Well, I agree. I think things should be that way too, but they aren’t. In an ideal world they would be, but in real life they’re not and trying to make them so winds up exacerbating everything. It’d be like trying to take nutrients from soil that’s already arid. You wind up drying it to a fine crust and BAM. Dust storm.

USA USA USA!! I pick america the country I was born in. The schools may suck but I don't dont want kids and Im already in college. The economy is in the crapper but I was probably going to be poor anyway. The environmen "meh", but I don't go outside. That plus the fact that I already speak the native language and know the customs makes it he perfect place to live. I would though, like to visit germany, japan, or canada.
