Before going to Japan I searched and searched for where I could find a store to buy Pullips while I was in Tokyo. It took forever, but I finally managed to find one so I thought I would post what I found here and hopefully save someone else the long search.

The Frickart Dolly Shop is an adorable little shop in Tokyo not far from the west exit of the JR Kamata Station. When my daughter and I were there, the store was packed from floor to ceiling with shipping boxes so it was a bit difficult (ok, nearly impossible) to see many of the display cases, but from the one wall of display cases that we could see, the prices were similar to what you would pay to buy from PullipStyle.com and TheValleyOfTheDolls.com before shipping. Still, it was great to see the dolls in real life and perhaps there were dolls which were less expensive along the display cases that were blocked by all the cardboard shipping boxes.

This link shows the pictures of the shop and gives the shop location, directions, and hours in Japanese:

In English the vital info is this:
Ota-ku, Tokyo 7-48-15 1F Nishikamata
TEL 050-1017-3474
In Sanraizukamataakedo
2 minutes walk from west exit of JR Kamata Station
OPEN AM 10:30 ~ PM 7:30
Closed Tuesday & Thursday

I have posted a picture of the shopping area where the store is located. The shop is the very first store on the right side of the photo with the cardboard boxes and blue and white vending machines out front.
