I heard that she is a Guardian apprentice and that X-eggs are attracted to her even though she doesn't have a shugo chara.

Seeing as how the manga isn't that far ahead (but of course we'll have to wait for the new chapter which should released in about 1-3 days) I don't see how the animators will have much to work with. It'll probably more "story->side character appears -> lacking motivation -> x-egg appears -> x-egg cleansed -> happy end" type sequences repeated for a bit. I hope I'm wrong though
