Shinji you don't even know the storyline of the movie, you posted the story of the anime not the movie. The movie is crap (at least the japanese version was a total didaster). They tried to create alternative universe of Eureka 7 but they fucked up characters, the story was bad, the fights were copied from the anime, theEnd was mixed with the Nirvash.

shinji has made a mistake the only showing for the movie is thursday the 24 of 2009 in a select amount of theaters around the us the tickets should no longer be available although they might sell it on dvd but the movie is just the movie pocket full of rainbows with english dubs for the origonal cast of eureka seven

The movie is a complete re-imagining of the Eureka myth and is not comparable to the series. You would be fine watching the movie without watching the series.

I enjoyed the movie. It was Amazing it was just a good movie and if u havent seen it dont hold it to the TV series standards.

It was cool to meet Tony Oliver and Crispin Freeman who was Hollands voice and Stephanie Sheh who was Eureka's voice for the dub. Didnt expect them to show up for the movie to watch it lol. Then was told the studio it was translated and recorded in was right down the street lol.

sorry to say dude but the movie was made for both those who do know and those who dont know the series it has the same characters most of the scenes are riped from series though but almost everyone has a different personality in the movie

I LOL'd. This actually got me excited until I read that it was a re-imaging of the Eureka Seven series. It would have been nice if it was an extension of the series.
