Eureka Seven : Pocket Full of Rainbows --> Eureka Seven : Good Night Sleep Tight, Young Lovers?
Doesn't make sense on how they derived that from the original title x_x.

Zealtron is also fail. (No offense.)

They didn't "derive" anything. They just changed the title for the Amercan release. Happens all the time. Books, movies, even music. Just another result of that nasty thing called "localization."

True, but still, localization doesn't change the title THAT much to the point where iy doesn't even make sense anymore.

As I understand it, they felt the title would be more appealing to the American audience. I can't speak for their reasoning, and I personally preferred the riginal title.

PT, there'sa difference between localization and inspiration. The mythos of the series draws heavily on the Peter Pan story, which is English. But that is not a change that was introduced strictly for American/foreign audiences, which is the definition of localization. Many other anime took similar inspiration from a wide variety of cultural sources not native to Japan.

Old comment is old.

And besides, why would you want a re-telling that followed the same story? (Of course, this re-telling sucked, but in theory it could have been awesome.)

I enjoyed the movie. It was Amazing it was just a good movie and if u havent seen it dont hold it to the TV series standards.

It was cool to meet Tony Oliver and Crispin Freeman who was Hollands voice and Stephanie Sheh who was Eureka's voice for the dub. Didnt expect them to show up for the movie to watch it lol. Then was told the studio it was translated and recorded in was right down the street lol.

I agree. The movie was amazing.

Also, I'm jealous you got to meet Crispin Freeman. He's such a great voice actor.
Where exactly did u go see the movie?

I have seen the movie, I paid 12.50 a ticket x2 (brought a buddy who'd lost his job a week or two ago) and it was *not* worth it. The dubbing wasn't bad, but sheesh they would not shut the heck up. They pretty much beat certain things into your head until you either *got* it, or, well, you were there for the pretty lights and didn't care.

Haha.. he meant we got to meet him during the "Making of" the movie. It wasn't in person. It was like a little clip at the end of the movie if you stayed after the credits. Like 15-30 minutes long.

Oh, if you mean that then I did watch the behind the scenes part. I feel somewhat stupid now, but I could now also say that I met him. Thank you for the clarification.

And to Phillangees,
It is true that they wouldn't shut up but either way I still enjoyed it. I had watched part of the series many years ago so I didn't really remember the real plot of the series, but they surely didn't beat anything into my head or was there for any light. And of course I had to care; I did in fact pay 12.50 as well. I just don't go to wasting my money on anything.
