I really like watercolour pencils, I colour briefly first and then go over with a brush dipped in water, just the slightest touch will give a great effect. I also think biro drawings look awesome, just black pen and cross-hatch to shade. Sketching pencils are another of my favs.

Watercolours and crayons for drawing; acrylic paints for painting... The paper depends really on what you use for drawing (usually thicker is better)
Lately I've been doing more digital art. For that Bamboo is irreplaceable I usually use photoshop for that but gimp and artrage might actually be better ;D

I really prefer simple pencil...
Dunno why tho'
I guess I just have a liking to sketch-like drawings...
It's fascinationg how the change of one line can effect the whole drawing
Also with pencil at least I have a chance to correct failures...
But sometimes I'm really good with regular pens either...
I did a quiet decent Naruto face fanart once with blue and pink pens
My preferences change with my mood I guess

hmm i'm used to pencil and then inking with my staedler drafting pen (but i recently bought a sakura micron)
I allllso recently got a tablet. so i'm practicing more tablet drawing now.. but my prismacolor markers, pencils, and inking pens will always have a place in my heart <3

 INTERESTING
I PREFER PENCILS OR BALLPENS....SINCE I AM MORE INTO UHHHH.... SKETCHES AND SHADINGS...
I SUCK AT COLORS SO IF COLOR IS NEEDED, PAINT IS MORE RELIABLE,,, YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE COLORS...
ANY PENCIL WOULD DO,,, JUST THE RIGHT SHARPNESS WOULD BE JUST FINE
FOR BALLPENS,,, THE THINNER, THE BETTER... I USE O.5 AND BELOW...

Mechanical pencil is always good for me
since its a basic tool
inking with fineliners or tablet
and colouring with PS or shading in pencils also i do watercolour and colour pencils
mainly its sketch pencil, finliner iking and then off to PS
the truth is i want COPIC MARKERS
