I use pencils almost entirely because I have nothing else... I keep a ballpoint pen for inking and a large box of colored pencils, but I'm too afraid of messing up to use them often. Which is why I want to draw digital on a Cintiq (Intuos if $$ is lacking), but I need a PC first. All I have for internet is this PS3 (or I borrow another's PC).

I like drawing with a B2 passer then ink with either a felt tipped pen or A dipping pen (trying to get used to A G-pen atm), then for the colour it's either watercolours, acrylics or 'cause my art teacher is amazing never uses them, Copic markers... Which I'm still trying to get the hang off but my Gods do I Frickin' Love Them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use pencils, an eraser in the shape of Santa or a penguin (got them on Christmas and I've found that they erase better than a lot of my other erasers) and either notebook paper, or printer paper.
If I draw on my computer I use PaintTool SAI, or Gimp.

While I do hope one day to actually be able to make a character that I would be proud to put on display at this point I'm still in the pencils and scratch paper phase years away from actual competency.

Pencil: Staedtler Mars 780 2mm lead holder (I've owned mine for almost 20 years now, best lead holder ever)
Pencil Lead: HB or H, and sometimes non repro blue.
Eraser: Moo Eraser (simply the best, doesn't damage paper surface like an artgum but with very little shavings)
Ink/dip pens: Pigma Micron(all sizes, including the brush), Dip pens with both western nibs and japanese nibs, A large number of synthetic brushes for inking too.
Inks: dr ph Martin's Hi-Carbon black India ink, and various deleter brand inks.
Paper: Strathmore Bristol Smooth surface for final art, and any decent smooth surfaced paper for roughs.

Digital tools: SketchBook Pro 6.2(full copic marker pallet), Manga Studio 5 EX, Gimp, Blender, and two Wacom tablets.

I use a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch and Easy Paint Tool Sai for digital art, and a variety of materials for traditional. My favorites depend on what it is I'm drawing.

If I'm drawing something in a manga style, or if I'm actually drawing a page of manga, I usually use my nib pen (usually Crow or G nib), India ink or Deleter ink, correction fluid, my rulers, Deleter manuscript paper (either B4 or A4, again depending on what it is I'm drawing.) When I just feel like drawing though, I'll usually just pick up my old mechanical or standard pencil and doodle on regular printer or photocopy paper. Sometimes I'll use cardstock if I feel like being fancy, haha. I'll use multiliners too, but I don't have a lot of them, and I like to save them for doing backgrounds and stuff.

If I'm painting, then I'm most likely using acrylics on canvas or board with a brush, or thick acrylics on board with a pallet knife. I like to diversify every once in a while, so sometimes I'll just use my hands (it washes off and it's fun), or whatever else. I've done stencils in the past, and I like to pick up a can of spraypaint every once in a while, but the stuff's expensive, so it's not very common.

I mostly use colored pencils and black pens. When I am too lazy to draw traditionally, I just grab my tablet and draw digitally xD

HB and mechanical pencils ^^ if it's really good I outline with manga markers and maybe color with PrismaPremier manga color pencils.
I recently was given a sketchpad and a sketchbook, but I used to use notebooks a lot.

If I'm up for digital I use paint tool SAI and Manga Studio
