I usually stick with pencil drawings but I've experimented with other mediums which I'm not necessarily against. I'm really interested into getting in to water color though.

I use Mechanical Pencils for the outline then color with colored pencil after that I go over it with 4h-8b Graphite pencils |

Pencil, or pen when I want to draw without erasing anything. Also, Wacom Bamboo tablet, crayons, markers, paint, etc. BTW, if you've never used markers on marker paper, let me tell you it's phenomenal.
