I draw on anything , But I usually use mechanical pencils & 03 pens . I hardly use color pencils or markers any more just coloerd ink & brushes .

Mechanical pencils. I've had the same one for years and it's the only one I want to use. The erasers all worn down, but I just use my kneaded eraser. Sometimes I'll use water color pencils, if I feel like using color, but generally I prefer pencil and shading.

Highlighter for early sketches and beginning phases, engineer pencil for a more concise sketch.
Then I like to use Faber Castell inking pens. Follow that up with Copics/Prisma colors! I prefer markers but I find colored pencil is great for texture.

Colored pencils are my favorite. I also like markers, mechanical pencil (especially with colored lead) and ink. I love to doodle and mess around in Painter as well. For cell-style coloring, Photoshop is best. =3

* I use 3B for my sketches
* 0.5 Mechanical pencil for detail (so I don't leave out anything important)
* I also use the 2B for shading lines
* Lastly I try to ink the sketch without inking the shading lines... (Bad habit)
* For inking I use a Pigment ink drawing pen or just a black fineliner.
* I like the effect of shadows and clothing in manga so I do the darker clothes in a black marker
* Colouring I use water colour pencils
(Saving up for copic markers for colouring)

I draw on anything, School books, Text books, Sketchbooks, Tissue (unused of course XD), Printing paper, Cardboard, and even once on toilet paper... ( I was bored okay)
The pencils I draw with are Professional Graphite pencils 8B - 2H, Pigment Ink drawing pen and a Mechanical 0.5 pencil :)
So yeah :P

I prefer pencil, and if I decide to color it, I do so with either colored pencils or in photoshop, depending on the picture.
I also paint too, though it starts out as a huge drawing, cuz I draw it in pencil before I paint it, so I guess that sorta counts XD But the answer is still the same, pencil, haha.
