Saki prediction Season 2?

manga still goin so probaly and the did give a preview of wats goin to happen next at the end of ep 25 YAY

i bet saki will have season 2 !

cause i heard that kampfer will be out 2012 maybe ..
i'm not so sure ..

but i hope it will cause the anime won't end like that

Saki is the best anime ever and will remain the best in my books if you learn the mahjong game the japanese one that they are playng not the chinese one,and know how to play the game and the rules you will understand it more better every bottom of it to bad i cant find the manga its only in japanese none translated in english hope they launch the saki 2 season soon its the best anime ever and ive seen lots and lots

doesn't mahjong have new competition rules each year? maybe they're waiting for the new rules in 2011 or 2012 before they continue since the series will be shown after a passing of time aswell?

To make an ANIME! It might take many years to finish it like Inuyasha. The next episode of Inuyasha was released on 2010. It might take long.

Saki needs a new season,i mean who will win, is saki going 2 make up wih her sis or not,will i ever know whats going to happen to al of this????????????????????????????? ; {

It may possibly be that the producers felt that the entire making-it-to-the-nationals-and-defeating-Amae plot is enough for now and decided to take a break for a couple of years, the jerks.

Saki was a terific anime. Ever since a couple days ago when i finished the anime i couldn't stop hoping for a new episode. I'm not sure about this but what if by doing this they are trying to get more people to want to watch the new Saki if it comes out. And during these couple of years, they get as many episodes done. At the same time a lot of you guy's are right. The manga is published in Young Ganga which is bi-monthly and it's pretty hard to anime a bi-monthly manga. Animes like Naruto, Bleach and whatever are coming out every week and are like in the 400s or 500s. Also they can't create fillers cause this is a sports/ tornament anime and it's very realistic. You can't make fillers showing how that get better or whatever cause that happens naturally. In anime like Naruto and Bleach, the easy part is that you can make fillers cause they don't really have specific goals like Saki. In Naruto, all he's trying to do is get Sasuke back to the leaf. In Bleach, Ichigo is just trying to protect his friends, so that makes it that the series can basically go on forever. Saki is so specific that they had to end at episode 25. And we also have to take into consideration that one Anime episode is like 2,3 or even 4 manga chapters. So yeah those are my views of this topic.

Well...I'll definitely go with Saki having a season 2....heck! i just read the manga chapter 79, and Hisa was freaking cool!
Though i totally agree with Primode....I think they're going to wait for the manga to finish then they'll start making the anime version!

by the end of this year they could probably make a season 2. After this match is the best of 8, then its the finals. Even if they just start the finals by the end of the year the anime will have the individual tournament and some omake chapters to fill in the time.

Well I agree with what everyone is saying in the last few post. I beleave there will be a second season. It took 2 years for a second Sekirei season so I think for an anime like Saki. It would take about the same time before we see another season.
