I'm taking Economic and International Business, but I just started.......so I don't know any fact until 1-3 years later.

Maou068 is right about agreements, as long as they get permission to edit animes, then they can. Without permission there is a right to sue them for editing without permission; using the author materials without permission. Make an un-edited manga and a edited manga? That mean they had use 2X the paper and 2X the ink. Most businesses want to make more profit with the best method they can use, and there aren't many businesses that would care for the consumers and spend extra money, unless it is the sake for quality/expansion/services. Making unedited mangas and edited mangas will split; Some will buy edited and some will be unedited, but then, why was the manga edited? For what reason? If it had something to do with laws, or view discretion problems, then making both edited and unedited manga will not work.

So what I said about 2X the paper and 2X the ink is wrong because I'm sure some country allowed unedited manga, and we can produce certain amount of edited and unedited instead of 2X, but then how we produce it? One machine doing the unediting and one machine doing the edit? Well I don't know how anime succeed in their businesses so I won't answer.

It may, but it may not boost sales, but I need a better question please. I can't really understand what you meant by unedited and edited...or what this thread is specifically about.

I guarantee if given the choice more hard core fans will buy un-edit more than the kiddie edit. and that means more profit.(it takes money to make money)

I don't know if we're talking about anime, or movies in general. But when you buy a DVD, there's always the "unedited and uncut" version of it. So I don't see the problem..

Did I not tell you to read the forum rules?
This is about manga again?
Fine. Since I'm in a good mood. I'll help you out with your thread.
First of all, you posted in the wrong section. Anything related to manga, should be in the manga section.
~Moves the thread to the manga section
Second of all, you need a clear title. That way it doesn't confuse people.
~Edits and changes your title
Lastly, you need a strong opening post. Ask questions so users can discuss about the topic.
~Edits opening posts

I told you to read the forum rules. Next time read it before creating a thread. Like I said before, if you create weak threads. It will get locked.
