How surprised were you when you found about this? What are your thoughts? Are you eager for it or does it make you want to quite WoW overall?

bad community, it takes 3 to 5 days level(after level 17), too much classes in the game and very unbalanced.

I wouldn't say so. There's a reason why it's the most popular MMO out there and it's probably the most polished one. Ok so balance may not be solid but it's going to be as good as anything out there if not better, blizzard have done a lot of good work with it over the time compared to how it started off.

All in all I think it's a necessary expansion to improve low level content bringing in some newer players and taking a step back at what they've done over the years to try and refine what they have as a pose to the hole they were digging themselves where they kept bolting on content and creating a game that greatly set apart it's players.

Saying that I would greatly love to leave WoW and spend some time on another MMO but as far as I can see the last few titles that have attempted over taking them have fell on their face with fail so atm WoW is still top imo.

Ayyyy man, I cant wait for the new expansion pack... I cant wait to fly my epic mount through Kalimdor and EK; gonna make gankin' so much easier for me.

I just think they're doing it for the money, and making Goblins a race is just stupid. Plus, most of the stuff, besides the major changes like new class opportunities and races, should just be released in patches, instead of making us go buy it =|

Well, I get sick of WoW allot but I keep coming back for more. I have played WoW, DDO, EQ, V:O, AA, Aion, LotRO, CoH (and CoV), Runescape (sue me, I was 13 then), and a few other P2P's I can't recall. I keep coming back to WoW.... says something.

As far as the expansion itself... Tuarren Pallies? Are you serious? And in no way should a Dwarf be a Shammy (let alone a Gnome)....

However I am excited that some oldschool stuff (RFC, WC?, and SFK are all getting redone). The graphic update looks nice as well.

I am not really looking forward to shelling out another $40 though...

Coming from a player who has been playing on and off since closed beta, I am not looking forward to this. For me World of Warcraft died with the release of patch 1.6 with Cross-Realm PvP and the revamped honor system. I understand some people were unable to sit there and play 24/7 in order to hit Rank 14 for Tier 2 equivalent pvp gear, but at least it prevented botters and more importantly everyone played as a team back then. Sure we still had people screaming at once another over General chat, but it wasn't as bad as it is now.

But hell for some fun fact: Warriors in beta were charing(Charge) and it originally also inflicted damage, some warriors in the 50-60 range were able to charge for 2000 to 5000 damage. Definitely changed before the release of retail WoW.

It never dealt damage and it never will. Charge+MS on the otherhand MIGHT've dealt 2k-5k damage but during beta everyone would've been one shotted from that therefore it never happened and if it did only for a few hours because that would be a redirk bug

Only in beta did the charge dealt damage and people were being one shotted if it were to crit(sorry forgot to mention) and was removed quickly. Like I said was a open/closed beta thing only.
