Praise God for that!

My story really isn't rather exciting.

Hmm not exciting. NOT!!!

Hopefully no more detours. But that is my legacy, and even though I hated the experience I thank God everyday for bringing those heathens into my life for without them I wouldn't be as close to Him as I am today, and the man I want to become, my Christian wife will be proud of. Now alls left is to finish school get into a good job and marry the love of my life who God chooses for me.

Hmmm detours, I have had them too but, you also got to watch out for the Road Blocks. God choose my Love of my life in a rater interesting way.. A blind date, set up by my Mon and her hair dresser.

haha, you know it might of been a broken one but at least its not going in the wrong direction. I don't know why we choose the broken/hard-rigged paths to begin with lol

Because if our lives were perfect to begin with, there's no need for God. Which would you prefer? To see God's hand working in your life when you look back at those years, or live comfortably in a secular society without knowing God?

If people's lives weren't broken to begin with, there's no need to reach out. Because past experience makes one a better guide to help another who is fallen.

Ooo very true "if our lives were perfect to begin with, there's no need for God."
Ah ya experience. I have some of that, some of which I would NOT like to experience ever again but, made me what I am today. A child of God (a some what Creepy one. lol). More on the experience part, if any of my experience can help some one, not to fall into the same traps (Say if I see or hear of some one having fallen in to one or about to fall). I will speak my mind and soul as God Directs!!!

This is only a portion of my story that I feel brave enough to tell. One day in the future I hope to share more publicly. God is good, all the time.  He will never ever leave or forsake you, that is a promise. Even when we leave and forsake Him or at least try to.

More More......

Hm? Maybe soon ^_^ I am about to tell some adults it. Once I tell them, I think I will be able to post in here.

I cannot concur more mr. rat,

I have some of that, some of which I would NOT like to experience ever again but, made me what I am today.
Haha, oh so true, I would not trade the experience for anything else, because they helped define me, however...it was bad enough experiencing it the first time.

I've just experienced God's works! Here it goes:

last week was our 1st monthly exams...I promised myself and Jesus that I won't cooperate with my classmates anymore...(you know what I mean ^_^ ) so I did...I wrung my head out to answer the exams and I gave it my best shot...and just left it to God... I believed in His promises... Que sera sera....

so monday....we checked the test papers...aaaand...I got 100% in math, 91% in english and 91% in physics...I'm not bragging that my grades are high...but I'm proud to brag that my Lord helped me!....

And to think the enemy made me dream that I was transferred to the last section 2 days before we checked the papers...

THANK YOU LORD!!!

I used to sin and never feel guilty about it. I was going through a rough time in my life and eventually became depressed. I used to think that I would never be truly happy. Then one Sunday, I asked my grandma if I could attend a church service with her rather than go with my family to their catholic church. The church my grandma attended was Born Again Christian. Upon attending, I felt this overwhelming peace that I can't describe. After that, I kept attending every service and eventually, me and my family had been saved by His grace.

Wow, you all have such inspiring stories. Thanks to everyone who has shared thus far. I guess I should share too!

when i was in high school, i met a Christian friend who kept asking me to go to her church. i grew up in an atheist family and most of my relatives are buddhist, so i really didn't have any way of knowing Christ back then. eventually, my friend convinced to attend church with her, but the experience did not turn out too well...

i got to know her friends at her church, but had a really hard time getting to know Christ due to all the drama that was going on within her group of friends. they all pretended to like one another, but would all jump at every opportunity to backstab each other. although i was very young then, i knew in my heart that that is NOT Christian love. i felt discouraged and stopped hanging around them. i am ashamed to admit that i even stopped studying the Holy Bible then.

a couple of years later, i met my best friend who is also Christian. he never pressured me to go to church or do anything. he let me learn what Christ has done for him and why he has such strong beliefs.

one day, i was over at his house and stumbled across a book. i believe many of you here have heard of it: "The Purpose Drive Life" by Rick Warren. this book really helped me renew my curiosity. I started reading the Bible again. this time around, because i was older, i was able to see the Bible is not just some piece of literature. It encompasses SOOO MUCH more than that!

my best friend then gave me a book called, "Blue like Jazz" by Donald Miller. after reading this book, i bawled my eyes out, but in a really good way. i finally decided to begin my walk with the Lord and i'm happy to let everyone know that i'm still going strong.
