Personally...I HATE THEM!

Why would they make something SO brightly colored and noisy??? No one can be discrete with those things, especially if they accidently drop out of your bag... ....REALLY embarrassing because almost everyone will know what it is...

I know they have the pads that come in a felt-like package...but that's only one brand. Anyways, it would be much better if they had pads that came in black or a neutral color that was leather or something...LOL

(By the way, I never had an instance where a pad dropped out my bag...I've just heard stories about that from other people...so calm down )

And while on this TOPIC, any embarrassing stories in relations to pads and tampons??? if your willing to share...lol

Well if they were black I'm sure it would get really hot in there..
And don't think wrong.

Next time, try zipping up your bag.

tampons r scary...
U should put the pads or tampons in a small bag so when it falls out or something no one will know...

Why dose it matter?

We all go through it (women I mean). Frankly, I don't give a crap if people hear/see them, and I wouldn't suggest wearing a tampon if you're a virgin, it'll hurt like hell.

Also, here's a trick to use:

If you're that embarrassed about people hearing you open a pad, try to noise out the sound by flushing the toilet. It works.

Anyway, I'm going to watch this thread, just in case some idiots decide to disrupt it.

You're 19 and you're embarrassed of people hearing or seeing your pads? O_o
Seriously..it's ok. No one cares, all girls use it, and almost all boys your age know about it. Nothing to be ashamed of.
@ Gaia93 's comment. Not really. Virgins can use tampons. It's too soft to hurt or break your hymen.

I haven't tried tampons yet prolly because they're pricier than pads here in the Philippines.

The noisiness isnt that bad really. I mean, you'd be opening it in a bathroom, so no one would hear anyway. And if it's a public restroom it's just girls.

The bright colors are annoying though. Like when you need to get something out of your purse in public, and everyone can see them...

I think I would know if it hurts, since I've tried it. It wouldn't break your hymen correct, but I just say do what feels confortable, and frankly, being a virgin and walking around in a tampon all day is not confortable. I still wouldn't recomend it though.

Aw. That's too bad. I agree with what ever feels comfortable. But I recommend tampons than pads. Girls should atleast try it out. If they feel comfortable in it, and if it doesn't hurt. They should go for it. I think they're more comfortable once you get used to them. WAY better than pads.
-They don't make noise when you walk
-They don't show pad lines when you wear them
-You can go swimming
-And it doesn't feel like you're wearing a diaper. So no itchiness between the legs. (For women who have sensitive skin)

And yes..to anyone who's confused. I AM a girl
