o_o I recommend you try them asap.
They're only a little bit more than pads, but they're so much better.
It's clean and easy and you only need to use them when your period is at its heaviest.
For the rest of the time just use pads, and of course you can't sleep with your tampon in.
Plus the risk of toxic shock syndrome is minimal and will be avoided if you don't leave your tampon in for large amounts of time

And I like the pretty pink packages. D:

i haven't had many problems w/ pads. i think it depends on which brand that could silence that noise some make & make less messes.

i don't like tampons. never tried them, don't think i will either~

I'm comfortable with pads. I tried tampons and didn't like it although all my girl friends say it's the most comfortable.
Besides among women it's not embarrassing at all to open a pad even if it's loud when opening it. We all know it's part of being a woman.
To OP of this thread...carry a purse that has a zipper or put it in a little non see through make-up pouch and then put that in your purse. Problem solved.

I've never had any embarassing moments like those. I always put them in the zipped pocket of my purse. Those are the only ones in there and nothing else. So, just in case I drop my purse, they're safe.

TAMPONS FTW hehe i prefer them to pads. also theres no need to be embarassed if its just girls when it falls out of ur bag. but once i dropped it (a pad i stuffed up my sleeve) as i was towards the toilets and it fell down the stairs and landed next to this really HOT guy.

I agree the wrappers are too catchy. It was embarrassing buying them.

Then I thought....why the hell should I be embarrassed? It's only natural what happens! Anyway you get those travel ones that are not catchy.

My Funny Story:

My lil bro came home after school one day and went, 'I know why your stomach hurts every month! It's the Menstrual cycle. They taught us all about it in school'

<-- I was like that.
