I could be wrong here, as I haven't read the manga or anything but... going by the first season episodes alone, I'd be surprised if this is a yuri anime. In all the episodes of the first season, and the first episode of the new 2nd season, I've yet to see even one remotely yuri related thing. Seriously, nothing.
I was expecting it to be yuri related too, so thus far I've been quite disappointed on that note, since there's literally nothing in season 1 that suggests the series is going to head in that direction.
I mean the promo images and the anime intro all seem to depict yuri elements but going all through season 1 you get angsty boyfriend issues and no hints of the suggested relationship between the two idols. Other than maybe a few sparse lines of dialog spoken within the whole season, thus far I've been disappointed.
It'd be nice to be reassured somehow that this series is going to get better going forward (read: actually turn into the yuri series I thought it was supposed to be) ....but I'm not counting on it.
