Well when I was a wee tike, the school taught us on Apple II/e. The monitor displayed two colours: black and orange. They were made by apple, but were NOT Macs. There was no gui or even a mouse that I can recall. The first PC I owned had a similar orange screen. It's specs were:
80/88 processor @ 4.77 Mhz
640 KB RAM
20 MB MFM HDD
360 KB 5 1/4" FDD
Hercules graphics card & display
2400 baud modem
MS-DOS operating system (I think the first version I had on it was 3.0)

Windows 95 was def the first computer I used on my own, played computer games pretty regularly but then I stopped using computurs regularly until the time that windows 2000 came out, at which time I'd discovered there was a lot to do on the internet.

I built my own "computers" using the 8080 processor in the late 1970's. The system was programmed in assembly language with a 16 button hexadecimal keypad.

Isn't listed CPM and Commodore 64. Oh the CPM box was home built and had 2 8 and a 1/4 inch drives.

me ?!..way back !!!.not even use windows again.my first time is DOS OS !!!.if talking about Windows OS...mean early Win OS.you need type on prompt command ... win...so bet all knew which version is.still so old version.
