well there is always the habitable zone we haven't found yet except for earth.

Wrong. No more than 25 to 30 light years away we have a planet with liquid water, and is in the Habitable zone.

Habitable zone? There are life forms on earth that live in more hazardous habitats than what the habitable zone offers. We have bacteria that live next to magma, we have pollen in space that is fine in the cold depths, and radioactive environment known as space.

Really, that's cool. I hadn't heard news on it though. Come to think of it I think there's other criteria too like planet size and stuff right?

No not really There is a chance there is a ice moon that has life in it. In are own solar system and it is not even close to the habitable zone. Habitable zone is more of a system to find planets that life started about the same as are own. Habitable zone is for us. So we can find other planets we can live on. Not a tool needed for life.. But a tool for are are own needs.

How selfish of humans to believe that they are the only intelligent life forms. I may not be alive when we finally make contact with another life form. It sure would be exciting though lol, someday we will be able to soar the cosmos to distant stars, Moons and other planets.

Any planet that can harbor life, WILL HAVE LIFE.

Good. I want to see what hot chicks are like on other planets. They better serve beer on X-3865 Glorknak or wherever. lol

I highly doubt there are any other life harboring planets. Aside from the elements and molecules required for life there must also be a protective atmosphere to protect against radiation and other solar damaging things. The earth has a magnetic field that protects us along with upper layers of the atmosphere. Without the greenhouse effect we would also not be life harboring. It's not just about having all the right forms of matter. Also, life cannot spontaneously generate, so it would have had to be created or placed there by another intelligent organism.
