45,000 people die in the US every year because they don't got health coverage:

I found out from this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YimeL5JNz3U

And there are still some people who don't think the US needs health care reform or universal healthcare.

That's just inhuman! My girlfriend was a premature baby as well as being underweight. And if it wasn't for the Canadian health care coverage, she wouldn't have made it.

Refuse to give medical coverage on a high-risk profile just to save money? That's not medicare! When stupid people with bad lifestyle habits are wasting valuable medical resources because they can afford their bad habits.

that's why i am so active to in medical reform and to give money to free clinics and try to bring information on the bull shit that is the lovely American health care system that so many stupid people think that needs no reform unless you are rich or like being in debt.

poor child... imagine what would happen on a government run health care system. She would have been denied treatment and made to wait for hours to receive medical attention. No one dies in America because of a lack of insurance, it's law that a hospital must treat you regardless of if you have insurance or not. If they die it's because a hospital broke the law. On the contrary, thousands of elderly people die in countries with universal health care simply waiting for surgeries. This is truly sad, but government run health care wont fix anything (it will only hurt).

What most people don't understand is that universal health care won't work on chronic ailments, when chronic ailments weren't caused by a failed health care but rather, poor lifestyle choices. The Canadian health care is no different, when even the hospital that my girlfriend is working are overflowed with mostly seniors waiting for hip replacements because they didn't have an active lifestyle. While emergency rooms are treating people with bad habits, instead of accident-prone.

We want health care reform? Then we need to know how to reduce our health risk factors that could lead to our overspending on medical in the future, by we constantly making wellness lifestyle choices. Not denying health care coverage on those who didn't have a choice due to unforeseen accidents. After all, there's no cure for our stupidity, when we keep throwing our lives away by making unhealthy bad habits. That's where our health care system failed to cure; our irresponsibility for our own health.
