My friend was going crazy about this game and pretty much got down on all fours and begged me to buy it so i could play with him.
So i bought it after work, threw it on my dresser not really interested in the game at all. He calls and tells me to throw it in and start with him, i did. We played for close to 10 hours strait. And i became pretty addicted right after starting, it has a very good sense of humor (at one point i woke my sister up because i started laughing to loud)

So far the game is very entertaining, and i was just curious what other people thought about it.

So i am exactly 1 day played with a single character (lilith), Finished the story (all missions) at level 40.
I feel so addicted to the game its scary. I have had a few people want to duel, and litterally smoked them (lit them on fire)
The replay value of this game is in my oppinion very high and honestly the best $60 i have ever spent. Yes i will say it was better than any halo, fallout. Me and my friend were just having fun and got so many achievements, i jumped off a cliff and accidentally mario stomped a skag. My friend also ran a car into me after i opened a gun chest so he could swipe the goods and also purposely shot a fire can that happened to be next to a shock can that happened to be 1 foot from me..
And yes there are over 15 million guns in the game, and it "DOES" keep track of what you have found.

I have been level 50 for a few days now (max level), i have gone through both playthrough 1 and 2.
There is no third playthrough. After 2 the monsters all scale up to level 50 (some pretty tough bastards) i have met alot of people the same level and played with them alot (monsters get insane boosts when more players join) But beware, there are alot of people that join your game and run around swiping all the weapon chests and leaving. So make friends, make private games. (generally happens alot more in lower levels)
So we are playing with 4 people in all, which means the monsters are rediculously tough, but its fun and the harder a monster the more chance for good loot drops.
So far it seems Fire element trumps all. And i am undefeated in the Duel arena (kill people in like 2 seconds)
What i am trying to say is, even at the max level i am still not bored. Although i have yet to find one of these fabled Red Rarity color weapons yet.
I have pretty decent knowledge of the game now, so if anyone needs help with achievements or other things then i would be happy to help. The Italian plumber achievement was kind of tough and took me a long time to figure it out.

Great game very fun, especially in co-op. Someone saw the debug code for the game and its estimated there are between 3-17million guns in the game.

The plot is decent, the quests are fun, and there's tons of weapons to choose from.
Overall, it's an awesome game~

I really want to test this game out, it looks so good. I'm a fan of action games and RPGs are enjoyable too, so this sounds like something I could really enjoy playing. I loved Fallout 3's setting and the vector shading in this game make the graphics just sick. Can't wait to play it.

This game sucks. It's only fun for like 2 hours and then its bland like all them other RPG games. Don't bother getting it. As for the achievements, their butt easy. Get up to 800 in one play through.

I bought this game a couple days ago and the only reason that I am not playing it at the moment is because I am playing Modern Warfare 2.
This game is completely amazing imo.

I got this game a week ago, and now I can't stop playing. When I first started, I played for about 15 hours straight. That's how addicting it is.

For everyone who enjoys a good fps and likes blowing things up, setting them on fire, or just splattering blood all over the desert floor, all with 3 other people, this game is for you.

I really like it, and it does one thing most shooting games dont do well, Boss battles/really hard enemies tend to be missing from other games or suck when they are there. This game was really fun and had more to it than the average shooter, plus on the second playthrough you can spend hours looting and training without getting bored.

Borderlands is the definition of fun

passed the game in about 12 hours of game play.

I'm on my second playthrough.
If it only took you 12 hours to beat the game, then you must have skipped the sidequests and exploring the world in general.
And if you did not do the second playthrough then you did not get the second difficulty level.
Oh, you must have also not gotten to level 50 and only played as one class, amirite?

Nope got to level 50. did all the side quest. played the 2nd play through with the lvl 51 enemies at the end. I explored the world very throughly. but i did only play as one class siren. i was gonna play hunter. but i got bored.

me and 3 other good friends of mines are expert gamers and we didnt mess around/goof off.
we just played and beat the game.

oh and you forgot we got badass rare weapons and sheild.
