This seems nice and all, but an interface to a TV is not exactly what I was hoping for. :)
I've been waiting for a while now hoping that Crunchyroll would get attached to TVersity or PlayOn so I could stream content directly to my PS3. Instead a plug-in for Boxee that's just an application is what comes out. I'm sure a lot of people will make good use for it, for me I'll wait for a plug-in to one of those sweet wireless-server based applets.

The interface is very confusing.
- Searching for the a specific anime returns you random results. It should be ordered by descending or ascending with respect to the episode numbers
- There is a huge lag for 720p resolution video (was watching Naruto: Shippuden). Is this possibly has to do with the Apple TV, Boxee app, or CR?
- Login issues. Although I am logged in, CR only gives me 2 minute video as if I am not logged in.

Actually this would be a reason for me to get the new boxee box with nvidia tegra 2. I have an old pc, tried upgrading to ATI HD3850 to breath life in it but useless, all my 720p content has stutter. For the price of a fancy new graphics card I can run the boxee and watch crunchyroll on my HDtv without noisy pc in lounge. Different needs for different people.

Any updates on this? Is the Boxee Crunchyroll app official or third-party?
Log-in works OK, however:
- Does not allow playing new episodes - even though I'm a premium member - I have to go to the site to watch these
- Finding what I want is a pain and slow

Hmm. I think I'll stick with my HDMI cable to hookup to the TV and keep using my cordless mouse. Although using a remote would be nice it's not exactly hard to point and click.
Nice idea though.

I would love to see CR offer a Roku channel. I expect people would find a $70 box a lot easier to justify the purchase of than one for $200.

A Roky app would be great since I have a Roku! :)
However, I do plan to get a Boxee and am hopeful this App is still being updated and will work great when the official Boxee box is released! |

I purchased a Vizio m550nv tv that includes internet apps. It has crunchyroll as a channel. But I can not get subtitles for the anime series. Is there a way to get this to work??
I went through most of the 18 pages of shows they have. Most of the TV series (non-animated) has subtitles, but can not find any anime series with subtitles. I tried pressing all the buttons on the remote to no avail.
I would love to watch crunchyroll from my couch but need subtitles!!
Help please.
