From that FF vs XIII trailer, again, the same things: hair too stiff, human movements look awkward, objects dont look like they have weight at all. There doesn't seem to be a discernible difference since Advent Children except perhaps better graphics and details.

hmmm...i thought they used motion capture (human movements) for the animation...and knowing the japanese, with their teleporting and super high jumps wouldn't these cut it even if it were 2d? as far as hair goes, i agree. but you look at the japanese hair styles now a days don't they look almost the same? probably an excess of hair spray/gel.

They do use motion capture (referring to using motion nodes or something like those attached to the bodies of real people and then relating those to points on the CG subject) but there are limits on the part of the computer graphics.

When I was playing with Poser, they had this thing called "physics lock", or something like that, I'm not so sure. But they inhibit the some things that the human body can do because the program will create distortions to the body when you move some part of the body in a particular way. And so the body's movement becomes limited in this way.

Also, if you study artistic anatomy, even very small things like the twitching of your fingers changes the physique of your whole arm because of the tendons, ligaments and muscles intertwined. But in CG, they don't recreate the whole body with its thousands of tendons, ligaments and muscles of course but they just take certain parts as whole, like perhaps the deltoid muscle is one chunk and doesn't change in shape.

Also there seem to be that huge problem with weightlessness, like the objects don't have weight in simulations. I don't know why.

(I miss Poser TT)

Ah I loved that Roger Rabbit movie but the actors and actresses has to be very good though or else the interaction would seem fake.

That back story was pivotal in helping to shape the game so it's not just some lame back story. And that's what was disappointing about it also. That such an important event was treated like a B flick.

That Transformer's movie was lame I thought. I suppose I grew up watching it so I didn't expect the Transformer to be made up so many intricate parts. I was also disappointed that Megatron was better at fighting than Opimus and that Megatron wasn't a high powerful rifle. And my goodness, the 3D has not progressed as far as it should've. I serious think that 3D should be handle by Square or some Japanese firm because somehow, American 3D just disappoint me so so much.

I think that in a few more years, 3D will look extremely more realistic to where even my eyes are going to have a hard time distinguishing it the first time I see it.

I was stating a opinion yet your throwing more information that wasn't even close to spam. First off learn to read the rules of the forum then i might consider saying knowledgeable to this thread. I'm sure you won't since you made this the problem anyways.

what rules did i break oh great one? enlighten me so i won't make the same mistake again.

You need to stop being sarcastic man. By first looks this looked like a vs thread at FIRST. Since you stated that a reasonable answer I am considering it.

I was only stating to the other person because he believes that its spam when notifying users that they are breaking the forums rules. I don't want to go to more detail since it might end up in a block of text. People should read the forum rules first.
