is the PS3, 360 and the Wii being used to its fullest potential ...idk why but im still expecting more from it and it just hasn't delivered yet ....am i the only one that feels this, not that its all bad but does it live up to all the hype.

i mean next gen gaming ...really ....i get the graphics and the wii with the controls but really? next gen seems a awful lot like last generation....

well i guess 360 graphics is already at it's peak cost mostly graphics on the 360 are just pretty much the same, while on the other hand on the ps3 like uncharted 2 graphics is almost as it's peak, reason why i said that why uncharted 2 was almost on it's peak is because when developers makes games for the ps3 they always learned new stuffs from it like different techniques in rendering and stuffs and also techniques on how to utilize the SPU's even better, look back from uncharted 1 the graphics was already good and was regarded as the best graphics on consoles then 2 yrs after uncharted 2 with even more bad-ass graphics again won as best graphics of the year. As for the Wii, nintendo is not even competing with graphics but with games (most likely for casual gamers).

As for the graphics 360 and ps3 are about the same in my opinion it's just up to the artists on how they do their job.
And I don't think that's there's gonna be a big leap from the graphics now to the graphics of the next gen consoles since you can already pretty much put every details. more likley this gen consoles will last longer than last gen.
