I usually try to stumache a series the first time I see it. There are a few that I have dropped. Erin I got to where 4 episodes left and stopped because got tired of crying in the series. Slam Dunk brought tears. Started it after I watched Dear Boys and couldnt stand that everyone that played basketball was as tall as the basket and could seemingly jump just as high.

I really try to avoid dropping anime but this is all I've got:
-009-1, Crappy anime, I found it very boring, and I didn't like the art style
-Witchblade, EXTREMELY hyped up by a person I know, and I don't know why. The first 6 episodes didn't impress me at all
And I might drop Shaman King, but that's only because I prefer the manga over the anime by a huge margin, lol
