He was GREAT in this drama--really really good. HyunJoon is still very closed up as a performer and this role calls for an actor very at home in his body, as MatsuJun is. I think it's not going to happen. There are all sorts of GREAT Korean actors who would kill for this role. Like........ Jang Guen Suk! Or.... Lee Min Ki! ![]() congratz ,your wish come true ![]() |

I really don't know what is with all these remakes. But yes it is Ironic that lately all the korean remakes of Japanese dramas seem to possess the element that is Matsumoto Jun (But hey i'm not complaining).
I'll be prefectly honest I am happy that Jang Geum-Suk got this role instead of Kim Hyun Joong. KHJ just doesn't have the acting experience that JGS has. and KHJ's role in BOF was disappointing, and no offence to anyone though i did like the show, the entire BOF drama was nothing compared to the Japanese one. Jun has this amazing acting talent of pulling people into everything he acts in, he has a power to connect with the audience and pull them into the show. JGS has some big shoes to fill with this role, and he will have to play it to the best of his abilities(which i know he will). I'm also pleaseed to hear that You're My Pet will air as a movie and not a drama, because from what I have seen JGS is better at acting in movies than in dramas. The movie seen is more him and he seems to be more real and emotional than when he is in a drama. The best of luck to the Koreans on this remake, because the Japanese drama of You're My Pet was absolutely AMAZING, so i hope the Korean movie will be too. |

Jung Il Woo. This guy is smokin' hot gorgeous and would be great because he's a tremendously subtle actor and very very sexy. I happened on him recently in "The Return Of Iljimae." I really didn't know what to expect and of course I loved Lee Jun Ki in the first "Iljimae" and found it hard to imagine anyone attempting to fill his shoes. I mean, lets face it : Jun Ki is an icon in Korea--he's practically a national treasure. Il Woo is fantastic in the new series--I mean really extraordinary. Everyone who hasn't seen it should run out immediately and do so. Here is a very nice picture of Jung Il Woo. I will watch him in anything, anytime, from now on. ![]() |
When you have a screening room, life pretty much doesn't get any better.

I dont know... I liked the jap version.
Koreans versions tends to make alot of changes to the original storyline and most times its either real crap or real great. I hope it turns out to be a good movie. cos personally I am a huge fan of jang geun suk. I dont dought his acting but if the script is crap his acting cant save the movie. However it is so far the most anticipated movie. ![]() |
