Hey I've been having the same problems as most of the people on here. i've looked through this thread hoping for a solid answer but it doesnt look like it's been found yet so i figured i'd put my input on here as well.

I'm running windows XP (32 bit) on firefox flash 10 is installed. i've done all the tricks, cleared flashplayer's cache, cleared my internet cache, reloaded/restarted and i still only get a blank screen like the person above posted. it's just blank sometimes when i refresh it shows a flash of the episode but then it never loads. so yeah, just figured i'd let you guys be aware that this is a, at least somewhat common problem.

also of note, when i try internet explorer the page does the same thing but i get a message at the bottom of the browser that says error loading.

why do you have just 5 cr points and nothing on your profile?

because i usually only come to crunchyroll.com for naruto...lol

^^;

also, i'm not big into the whole message board thing, used to be...but not so much anymore.

to be honest with you i used to go to dattebayo for naruto but then they stopped subbing shippuuden so i went for a long while without any naruto at all until i found this place, and since crunchyroll doesnt require a membership, i didnt need to become a member to catch episodes (albeit a week later) it seemed like a decent trade off.

so that, in a slightly longer than needed explanation is why i only have 5 cr.

what are cr anyway? crunchy rolls? credits?

p.s.
i'm adding some stuff to my profile after i post this, lemme know if it makes you happy =)

P.P.S.
One more thing, the videos are working again for me on this site, so thanks for listening/reading my post

Yeah, your profile is better now.

Hiya.

I'm a new member of Crunchyroll and I am not having any luck playing any videos. I have tried multiple videos from multiple series. I am running XP with Firefox (updated to Flash 10 recently and found it fixed an older problem I had been having with myspace's music so I know it is working).. I have my cookies and java script turned on, I cleared my cache and my firewall should not be a problem. I even tried it on a different computer and with IE on this one and still nothing but a black box with no controls. Anything else I should try or should I just wait for it to magically work like it seems to for everyone else?

Thanks in advance.

Update
I tried it on my boyfriend's laptop today and it works fine.
We are running the exact same Firefox version, using the same firewall and on the same network.

Another Update:
IE is now showing me the picture at least, but nothing else. I'm going to try to troubleshoot it now. Stlll nothing but a black box in Firefox.

Final Update:
Working fine now. I updated Firefox and reinstalled Flash and it fixed it. I still don't understand what was different, but I"m happy. Thanks anyway.

Okay, I just finished reading everything in this thread, because I've been having the same problems as everyone else. Whenever I try to watch any videos, there's only a still picture. No ad pops up. I've already tried unchecking and checking the boxes, and that didn't work. I tried the other thing, and here's what I got;

My 5th day of not being able to view any video. My internet connection can pull down HD content fine from other pay to view sites. I have unchecked the 2 boxes in the flash player options to no avail. Flash version 10, vista 64.

Hi.

I, too, am having trouble getting any videos to work.

Clicking on one pulls up a picture, but the player itself never loads, and the video pages always load with errors (the text of which is below). I just noticed it this last weekend, but with all the holiday doings, I figured it would be a bit before somebody would have a chance to poke at it too much. In the meantime, I thought I'd try the fixes recommended in this thread.

The unchecking / checking of boxes in Flash didn't make a difference, sadly, so I ran the ping trace thingy. My results for that are also below.

I've had no trouble with the site until this weekend (I've been an Anime Member for about a month and a half), but I hadn't tried to watch anything for a week or so, so the problem may have cropped up earlier. Other streaming sites, like Funimation and Hulu, haven't given me any trouble. I'm running IE 8.0.7600.16385 on a spiffy new Windows 7 PC, which I'm still getting used to (I had to search Windows Explorer just to find "Run", since it doesn't show up right off the bat in the Start menu anymore).

Should I un- / re-install Internet Explorer? I'd appreciate any ideas you can offer. I will keep my fingers crossed and send you all happy, stress-free, fixing-things / telling-me-how-to-fix-my-own-things vibes. :)

Oh my goodness! After 2 weeks of non-working videos on my laptop, the videos finally work!

I don't know why, but right after I cleared my history and restarted my laptop, everything is working just fine!

An update to my version of the video issues.

I have tried updating my Flash from version 10-something to 11 and still get no player (just an image) to load with IE8, but I tried downloading Firefox and Chrome, both of which seem to work (Firefox took two tries, the first time I got no player and no image, just a black box, and it took forever to load the usually-snappy page; Chrome worked fast and fine from the get-go, but the mouse never disappeared in full-screen mode, which was mildly annoying, but a small price to pay to be able to watch videos again). So, yay! But also continued frustration that I can't figure out what is up with my IE8, as that is still my favorite browser (I have to use it at work all day, so it's my brain's default, despite its imperfections). Anyway, for those of us having continued grrr with this, perhaps trying the newest version of another browser will be a temporary workaround? Dunno. I wish us all zennnnn and happy video watching.

Ah, the capriciousness of technology.

I just tested a video in my IE8 browser and the player actually loaded. I still get the "Done, but with errors on page" message at the bottom of the screen, but that probably doesn't mean anything, as it did the same thing before I started having problems with the player. I do not understand why it was throwing such a tantrum for the last week or so, but I give thanks to the 'puter powers that be for its cooperation now. Thanks, also, to you all for the commiseration and idea-bouncing, even if we don't actually know what the problem is / was / will likely be again.

well the thing is that i tried couple of times to connect the server on the same time but from another ISP and seems that the ISP is the problem.
either it's by QOS or by low cross Atlantic connection resources.
