There are rumours that say that the F1 won't be running on Spa every year, even though for most of the drivers it's one of the best tracks and it has a lot of tradition... If you support this great circuit I think you should sign so that it will be kept into the calendar.

Don't expect me to write back at least early, I'm not much into this anymore

Nice pic of the great Senna at the bottom. I love Spa as much as anyone but you could get 6 billion signatures and it wouldn't matter, sadly Bernie does what he wants and it's all political.

But that's all we can do to help (at least me) and we dont lose anything for doing so... don't you think? |

You are certainly right, I know I signed. I am afraid they will remove all of the great old tracks in favor of newer designer tracks that are willing to pay obscene amounts. If they remove Monaco I will hunt Bernie's nazi loving ass down.

Who the f*** in the world of motorsport who's sane would even conceive of doing such a thing?!?!??!?1111
Spa-Francorchamps is a kick-ass circuit! It doesn't logically make sense since it sells tickets well, doesn't it? I'd like to drive on Spa-Francorchamps with an STI someday... |

Sadly attendance at Spa has been down around the 50,000 mark the past few years with promoters claiming they would need at least 70,000 to break even. I think this past year they posted a loss of just about 5 million euros. Each grand prix promoter has to pay the FIA a ridiculous sum of money for the prestige of hosting an F1 event, then on top of that a lot of the ticket sales revenue and so on also goes to the FIA. The way it is all done is quite stupid, makes it almost impossible to make money off hosting a grand prix. |

That's very unfortunate that F1 has to be this complicated, but I guess that's what makes F1 the way it is... |
