Born in Feb.16, 1984, Jeff Simmons was an orphan who had lived a tough life on the streets. Jeff’s parents were accidentally killed by a group of gangsters during the gang wars. As a kid, Jeff tries to get a job in order to survive. After weeks of searching, Jeff finally lands a job in a pet store. While working at the pet store, Jeff sees another employee performing a dance move. Jeff gave a try but the dance move was exactly the same. He starts to believe he can imitate a person’s skill and intelligence. So he decides to copy the abilities of the people around him. He also learns that he could not copy the people's abilities from a far distance. So Jeff decides to perform this ability in close range. Later, Jeff starts to feel a change in his body. He suddenly transform into his manager’s form that is nearby. So Jeff escaped from the store so his manager won’t notice him. Jeff revert his manager’s form into his original appearance. Jeff starts to realize he can morph into any person he wants whether its close range or from a far distance. While performing these abilities, Jeff decides to have revenge on the gangsters who killed his parents. So Jeff assumes the form of a gangster and infiltrates the hidden stronghold. Once Jeff enters the stronghold, Jeff meets a powerful crime lord, who also has powers of his own. Jeff takes the gun and kill the crime lord’s men and is about to finish the crime lord. The crime lord activates his power and begins to alter reality around Jeff. Jeff learns that he is in the reality where his parents are alive. Jeff tries to talk to his parents but the reality fades away. The crime lord talks to Jeff and soon realizes that he is not of his men. Jeff reveals everything to the crime lord. Later, the crime lord understands his feelings and wished that Jeff's parents would not have been involved in the shootout. Jeff begs to have his old life back but the crime lord said his power is too hard to control. The crime lord also says his power is limited. He could only alter the reality for a limited time. So the crime lord gave Jeff an option to work for him. Jeff thinks about it and accepts the offer.

After accepting the crime lord’s offer, Jeff assumes a new identity and calls himself the “Impersonator”. Jeff works besides the crime lord on drug deals and money laundering. Jeff starts to steal money from the banks and stores by taking the form of a different person. Once the news was overheard, the police have so many suspects who were tracked down. The police find themselves having trouble of tracking down the real culprit. So a new cop is dispatched to help and track down the criminal. The cop happens to be a mutant who can absorb solar energy and release solar blasts. The cop named Matt Henderson assumes the identity “Solar Man” and begins to track down the criminal. Solar Man hears the news about a powerful crime lord and his dealings with the other crime lords. So Solar Man starts to search for him and begins to suspect that the crime lord was involved in the robberies. While searching, Solar Man sees another Solar Man who happens to be Jeff in disguise. Solar Man starts to realize that this Solar Man is responsible for the robberies. Then the two Solar Men begin to fight. Jeff copied the Solar Man’s powers and attacks him. But Solar Man flew away before the blasts hit him. The two Solar Men continue fighting until the Impersonator fells down. Solar Man realizes if he flies further away, the Impersonator could not copy his powers. So Solar Man comes with a plan to attack the Impersonator from a far distance. Solar Man absorbs the energy from the sun and unleashes a solar wave from his body. The solar wave hits the Impersonator and gets unconscious. The Impersonator reverts to his original appearance and gets taken to the authorities. Later, the Impersonator was sent to a maximum prison for superhumans and mutants. The Impersonator is the only criminal who is sent to a special room where he cannot copy the powers of other superhumans and mutants. While serving time in prison, the Impersonator’s new power starts to manifest. The Impersonator’s unknown personalities have emerged and begin to take over his body. Later, the Impersonator begins to shape-shift into the personality’s appearance. The doctors were called in and try to examine Jeff’s condition. One of the doctors said that the personality emergence was caused by parental abuse since childhood. Jeff does not want to believe it and says his parents were always kind to him. In order to prove it, Jeff is sent to a machine where he can experience his childhood past. After experiencing the tragic abuse, Jeff went to a coma. The doctors indicate the coma was caused due to the tragic abuse that Jeff had experienced. The doctors are not sure when Jeff will recover from coma.
