What second language would you like to learn?

Learned French and Latin when in high school. Hated Latin at the time but since it's been an excellent technique deconstructing the meanings or derivations of unfamiliar words.

Previous on the job skills learning nuances of regional colloquialisms here in US of A. Wisconsin, Michigan, Chicago area, for example, have what I describe as Michigan-Indiana mumbly-grumbly. Life could always be better and if it isn't then it's someone else's fault.

3rd language learned: how to deftly respond to spouse when honey-do suggestions waft breezily throughout the hallowed corridors of our humble home. Sigh!

Default Language to learn: you guessed it: Japanese for all the reasons everyone else has already posted and so I can bitterly complain when some scanalation manga is in English instead of native tongue. Wah!
