Why were you in the hospital?
Posted 11/8/09
Last I went was shoulder operation from a past injury playing up. Was meant to be in for 5 days, but left after 4 because I felt I was ok to leave.

The first time was when I was like 4 or 5 I had an operation on my thumb to make it bend properly. I have no idea how long I was in there for.
Second time, I was 11, I had agonising pain nearby where my appendix is and I had to get it checked out, to this day I still don't know what was wrong.
Third time, I was 13, I was on holliday and I had an astma attack where I could barely even stand up, I felt really light headed and I couldn't breathe much. I had to have 10 pills three times a day and take inhale three times on my inhaler , they tatsted nice and sugary but they made me shake like crazy.
All the other times, I was either getting an injection or visiting someone else.

Oh GOD NO!!!
I waited outside
The only time I've seen people give birth is on tv. I don't think I would want to see it either

Btw, my friend got stuck in the hospital for 23 hours because they thought she had swine flu as well. They wouldn't let her parents see her, and made her go into an area where she was cut off from everyone else, and the doctors came in with full body suits and masks ._.
Is that the same for you?

Or were you just joking?

I have to go back for physiotherapy sessions 3 times a week, and I am due to have injections because I'm going to China next year. I've had hep B and it made me sick as a dog. >_< Hope I don't have reaction to the others.

O_O rly?
I went to the hospital wearing a mask (Lol, you can imagine the people's reaction. they were all like ) . I was isolated for an hour with glucose injected in me. 5 hours later, they said that my temperature dropped and that they weren't sure if it was Swine flu.
They ALSO told me to go home and avoid contact for a week...
So I doubt I really had SF.
Come to think of it, They never really answered me when I asked them if I really had it
( I got Swine flu meds though >_>)
Lol, I went to school 2 days later.

lol! They did the same thing to my friend. Apparently she only had some infection on her liver or something. That's why she had such a high fever. If it was me, I would have been real pissed. Apparently they also stuck some stick down her nose to her throat O_O
She was scared half to death for 23 hours.
Stupid....
They also kept her waiting before hand too. You know how hospitals are. They make you wait for HOURS. My brother had to wait 7 hours with his broken foot until someone took him in.

Omigosh, that's a lot!

I've never been brought to the hospital before because of an illness pr whatever. Does that make me a healthy person? hahaha, lol. But anyway, last time I went to the hospital was when my cousin gave birth and that was like almost 2 years ago.
