Sooooo many great depressing vocaloid songs, like the entire Dark Woods Circus series, or Forgotten..., or Can't I Even Dream?. I think Crime and Punishment is the all time saddest song for me with it's video.

I have two worth mentioning here:
1. Radiohead songs (a majority of their songs are sooo sad and depressing) - especially 'How to Disappear Completely'. makes you just want to sink into the ground wherever you are and disappear from the face of the earth.
2. John Lennon's 'I needed you, you didn't need me' - more than depressing, this makes me emotional and I almost always end up crying. So yes, you can classify it as depressing.

I wonder why they actually make such songs in the first place. I mean, if you're happy, you wouldn't want to hear such songs and get depressed. And if you're actually depressed, then why would you want to feel more in the dumps than ever? It escapes me completely.

Crywank is amazing. Same with The Antlers. I respect your taste in sad songs.

Defeater's first couple of concept albums tell an insanely depressing tale.

City and Colour hits a lot of the love-lorn areas. Bright Eyes is pretty good at being incredibly sad.
