I am having the same problem. I've been lurking so I will get down to brass tacks here.

What browser are you using? I have tried Firefox and IE.
Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Yes.
Have you tried closing and reopening the browser after doing what I previously asked you to do? Yes.
Have you tried using more than 1 browser? Yes, Firefox and IE.
Are you having problems with all videos? For example, can you access the following video?
http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-509768/naruto-shippuden-1/
I have tried videos from several different series, including Naruto Shippuden and Shugo Chara.
Have you tried more than one computer? Yes I have tried two computers with two different IP addresses.
Have you tried ipconfig /iprelease /iprenew /dnsflush? Yes I have.
Do you have any addons or extensions enabled that would affect Flash? I disabled AdBlocker and restarted.
What do you see when you try to watch a video? Originally, the ad would play, and then I would see a blank screen. Now I see the still image that OP was seeing, and no video ad. I am not a subscriber.

Going to this page, un-checkmarking and re-checkmarking the 2 boxes will most likely fix your problem.

I tried this and it didn't help.

1) Click the Start button and then click on Run.

2) In the Run window, type "cmd" without quotation marks and press Enter/OK.

3) When the black Command Prompt opens, type in "nslookup cp71915.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.

4) Type "ping cp71915.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.

5) Type "tracert cp71915.edgefcs.net" without the quotation marks and press Enter.

6) When those commands are done, right click anywhere in the command prompt, click Select All and press Enter to copy the text. Then paste it in a reply to this message and I'll check it out.

Ok, update, now it shows the loading bar in the middle, then plays the video ad, then black screen. I tried this on Shugo Chara Party.

Sorry, I don't see any reason why the videos aren't working for you. Are you by any chance using Flash 10.1 Beta? Either way, I would suggest uninstalling Flash with the Flash Uninstaller and then reinstall the latest stable release of Flash.
