May the Power of Communication be the End of Terrorism

I would like to share with you my definition of the term terrorism as "an act of complete ignorance of any official channel of communication". And in order to demonstrate my point, I'll use the infamous Iron Curtain as a physical and symbolical representation of both the form and ideology that's terrorism.

My grandfather had relatives back in China while I lived with him in Taiwan. And for him not able to contact his older bother in China due to the Bamboo Curtain(the Chinese Communist equivalent of the Iron Curtain), who raised him after their father died, was a terrifying experience. As I grew up watching him suffered from the experience, I've also came to known of the Taiwanese's own Bamboo Curtain. Which caused the February 28 Holocaust that almost whipped out my grandfather's own family in 1947.

Today, the Canadians celebrate Canada's Remembrance Day. And we do so by honoring our war veterans, as well as the memories of those who survived and perished from the miseries and tragedies of war. But at the same time, I want all of us to remember that not all wars were fought with weapons and death machines. When the idea of terror can be just as miserable and tragic, by causing what's known as the Cold War.

And from this day forth, let us also remember that the power of communication is the only thing that can end terrorism. When talk of peace is as cheap as ending a world of individuals in miseries and tragedies cause by the Cold War.

Now who feels like talking?

I would've thought that you were either joking or being sarcastic, if it wasn't for the fact that I can also talk with my fists.

Any other words of wisdom that you feel like sharing?

They are one and the same, when they are all parts of me for being who I am. Therefore it is only when I stop being myself, that my brain and my brawn will just go to waste.
