not "depending" on someone is the way. if you "depend" on that one person. they might leave you, either though death or a broken bond. It'll hurt and you wouldn't know what to do. b'cos u need to depend on someone or someone else to make them put yourself together..

I've learned that each person needs to take a self journey trip alone every once a while...
when the soul gets weary,
when the self's giving up on the world,
when dissapointments hits at every corner,
when there's no purpose/dreams & etc to chase after

... to try to reflect back in life
... to return to innocence.

Doesn't need to be a trip overseas or luxury trip to etc.
It can be any budge trip to remote areas, walk among the highway alone,
walks in the fields, just letting the legs take you to where ever, just to stop to breath and look at the sky.
Just get away and live in a budget hotel or friend's house away from everyone.

Sit in the park, watch the elders with their life.
Sit on the grass, watch how kids play.

Pamper yourself with simple self indulgence...
Be it with ice cream or curry puffs in hand,
Be it your legs in the sand,
Then, come back after a few days to reality.

You'll learn part of yourself, you've never know.
Not everyone has happy fairytale,
But everyone can write their own & live their own fairytale & filled it with twist & plots of it's own.
That's why cheers to another year!
Rejoice for another year of giving us the chance to live our life & making it right.

your a bit of a romantic at heart arent you?

at any rate i think i need to do that myself, go on a trip and get away. id love to go visit the country side in another country though. like japan, england, italy, i would go to france but the french dont get along with us americans, such a shame to.

LOL I'm not romantic, just that I started to learn to take pleasures from simplicity.
Most ppl. tend to think money buy them happiness, over must go to certain "romantic" places like what they see in movies/dramas to feel happy, but in reality it can be anywhere anyplace.

It's about finding yourself in self road trips alone.
I thought the French don't get along with the Brits. Actually I've a few American friends who went there as student exchange students, they said they've no prob. at all it's just that they prefer if ppl. speak in French. They are very proud ppl. & very proud of their languages. I'm frm South East Asia by the way :D.
I've a British friend who went to some village in France & he got spat on O_o just bcs his Brit. accent was thick. He works as a photographer...it's one of his "road trips". He told me it's very eye widening.

This year, the thing/s I've learned is that friends, most of the time, when they tell their problems to you, it doesn't mean that they want advice, oftentimes they just want a friend to listen to them..

I also learned to think first before saying a thing that might lead to a quarrel..

What I have learned is

haha sorry i look at that and it makes me think you have a romantic mindset *sorry read waaaay to muhc :D*. but yeah okay its more like the french are disgusted with americans and hate the british. a lot of french think very lowly of americans...and a lot of them also believe that they paid us back for world war 1 and 2 and not only that but did most of the work saving their country themselves...now im not gonna take credit from the french they fought hard for their country even after lossing but without america stepping in the resistance would have fallen. and the whole hate for the brits is a long standing tradition...they been at war with each other so much its engrained in their dna
oh id love to visit various spots all over asia :D, im into the whole various asian cultures (probably because i live in california, lots of asians from all over :D).

i've learned many things. one is that we should cherish what we hold dear, cause nothing in this world last forever, even for a fleeting moment something you hold dear can vanish in front of your eyes.

Oh yeaaah tell me about it, I once hv. a group of regular gamer pals from Brit. & all of them were bashing other countries for hating them or making their lives miserable. Whn it came to France, it's like all hell gets loose. Most of them had school trip to France & for some reason had to take French lessons as part of their subject (including Spanish/Italian or etc.) I heard they had 100 years+ war :O. Man trust me once upon a time there's a situation like that Japan vs. Koreans & Chinese & most Asian countries but of the communist agenda. But all's well end's well not. Hopefully. I would be dreadful if WW3 break out. I hope the wars btwn. Iraq & USA is the last one that effected the whole world.

I heard California's a pretty romantic country haha... ever heard the song "Hotel California" by Eagles. I grew up listening it, my dad's fav.. Eventually found out it's a very "dark hippie" song.
Sorry every time I hear California.. I'll think of that song, warm seasons, riverbanks w. crocodiles. Oh yeah & Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Simpsons

yeah the british and french really dont get along specially when it comes to futbol. and yeah they have been at war so many times. the french got involved with the american war for independence just to piss off the english haha. yeah i did some studying on that in my japanese history class, some pretty crazy stuff. yeah i always said the usa shouldnt have gone into iraq, and i also said if there were gonna do it, do it slowly to avoid creating a vaccum but nobody listens to a kid(was in highschool when i saidthat after the towers fell)

well california can be romantic i s'pose we do have some beautiful weather(mediterranian) and landscape(again look to the mediterranian :P). lots of sports and outdoorsy weekend warrior stuff. and lots of liberals and green peace haha. Hotel California is an awesome song i love that one so much, you should also check out californication by red hot chili peppers and dani california by the same band :). oh tell me bout it cali got ripped on so much when we got the governator ah oh well he has done some good, and has done some slacking off, typical politician. ok whered the croc's come from so far as i know we dont have any in california...although the climate here is good enough that we could sustain them pretty easily(please dont release crocs in cali's rivers, i like to swim in them :P)

Bad things happen to good people...
People die, parents leave, hard times come...
All you can do is grin and bare it.
"If I held it in, though, and smiled...
... They'd get tired of beating me and quit.
So no matter how much it hurt, I had to keep smiling"
