people never feared the gundam a destroyer and pilot it without hesitation unlike non uc shows
future century: master asia says that earth was damage by the gundam matches
after colony: luna armnia mentioned that the gundams are a threat to destroy earth and stop the world from producing children
after war:Nomoa Long says the gundam are monsters and which is why he revived the Patulia as well Jamil Neate thinks the satelite canon is the gundam powers of evil
correct century: turn a was the key of the dark history
cosmic era:freedom and justice were mentioned as the pandora box because of the neutron jammer cancellor
ad:Team Trinity has proven themselves as evil by killing citizens
uc gundams are a symbol of light and nu gundam proved it
yes i know rx- 78-2 was called the white devil but thats a nickname

stop a building from burning

saving the world with its gundarium hands

protecting their teammates.

save kids lives

That's an interesing point you've brought up. In UC, the Gundam is almost always the hero, I can't think of any times when it isn't except the Psycho Gundam.

This is certainly a good way to point out such a feature.

Who was Luna Armina again? It's been years since I've seen Wing.

Oh yeah, sorry, well in UC the Gundam is an MS style, like a Zaku or Gaza, or Zolo. It just happens to be a design that psychologically symbolizes a defender rather than a destroyer. We all know how they are in G, as national pride. AC describes them so much as knights in shining armor. In the expanded UC, i.e. AW and CC, the nature of the Gundams is open to great deals of interpretation. To civilians in Gundam X, they are powerful and valuable, to the colonists, they are sayers of doom. The Turn A Gundam is only a monster to those who understand its power, to others, quite the opposite. This is described with Corin who sees the apocalypse in the Gundam's eyes, but Lauren would just as much use it to create a wash basin for a hospital. And of course in CE, only a GUNDAM can defeat a GUNDAM so you do the math.

True indeed, but other the other non-UC shows, show the reality of weapons.

The non-UC shows, show that weapons that were meant to do good, could do great harm if used by the wrong people, in the wrong way.

You can't entirely say that UC are all angels, heroes and knights in shining armor...

You'd trust a police if you were to give him a gun, but you wouldn't be trusting a deranged criminal holding a gun.

And there you just described Zeta Gundam in a nutshell. What happens when you give the power to protect, to the worst of us. And V Gundam truly showed the devastating power of technology, mainly the Angel Halo. The Gundam has become the unit of the heroes probably because of the psychology behind the suit.
