I'm like MEH... but seriously, the fandoms of Adventure Time and Steven Universe makes me cringe and turns me off from those shows, I really love Gumball, he just has more appeal to me and is more relatable to me when it comes to family, a sometimes dysfunctional but in the end lovable family. Regular Show is good and my favorite of the cast is Rigby, Clarence is... no clue, and Uncle Grandpa is Uncle Grandpa. A new show that has came to TV but was and still is a webshort is Mighty Magiswords, I thought the show was retarded at first but it has grew on me for it's wackiness and randomness of it's two main characters, a brother and sister duo named Vambre and Prohyas, both are God awful idiots but lovable idiots. The show has been a webshort for over a year and still is despite a full-time TV show and it contains voice work from the Game Grumps. All in all, Cartoon Network is in a weird indescribable state right now.

I miss the older shows, that's for sure and I hope we get a new Swat Kats series.

I think I figured out the biggest unifying problem with modern CN shows. A lot of them seem to lack a straight man. Think about your least favourite show currently on the network and try to tell me who the straight man is. All the shows now are comedies so it shouldn't be that hard, key word being shouldn't. It's easiest to see this in the reboots they are currently airing, partially because they have a ton of reboots right now and partially because you have better cartoons to use as a reference. Teen Titans Go gave every character a Patrick Star level intelligence, the new Powerpuff Girls oversimplified and exagerated the goofier character traits of the puffy trinity to the point where those aspects are basically all their personalities are and that Ben 10 reboot changed Gwen so that she now joins in on her brother's hair brained mischief (although I'm told they're changing that, to be fair). It all makes the comedy feel one note and directionless. I honestly think that of they foxed this one thing I would enjoy a lot more of their programming.

What do you guys think?

I miss old Cartoon Network, in the same way I miss having the time of childhood to put that level of love and effort into television.

That's part of growing up, though.

I find most modern cartoons to be terrible. Why can't we have cartoons like Courage the Cowardly Dog and Tom and Jerry nowadays? Right, because of obnoxious stuff like Minions and Teen Titans Go. That's why I watch mostly YouTube videos and anime these days.
Also, I am I the only person who finds the show Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi so bad it's good?
