It's an outstanding game, which far exceeds its predecessors. If there's a new one, I hope it can fill the shoes of this game. Bethesda just needs to focus on a good game and not profits and an Elder Scrolls V could go far.

What I liked about it was it was more focused than Morrowind. In morrowind it was like, I'd make a character, and go around and kill guards until I got tired. And I was able to learn ways to "cheap' my way, like instead of trying to do quests and stuff I'd go straight into the cellar under the fist store, steal the best sword, and then go around killing people and stealing thigns as I saw fit.

That's the problem with a game being too open, Oblivion was more "closed" and so it was a bit better.

They got a little crazy with the portals to hell though, the first one was like intense but after they started popping up all over the place things got a little

True Those portals was tricky once you started gaining levels.

I still play the game, I bought all the expansions.
I would recommend this game to people.
I hope they come out with a 5.
I would logg another 200 hours of gameplay and still have fun :D
Yes Morrowind was lame/cheat of a game.
But they did step it up with elder scrolls.

I liked Morrowind better for it's lore. There was a lot more to it than Oblivion with a lot more options for the player, granted it did take a while to dig in. Oblivion was more of a "here's what you got to do" and gave the easy button for everything. Quick travel... Arrow pointing you where to go... Morrowind made you figure everything out whereas Oblivion hands it to you on a silver platter.

Oblivion though has better graphics...

I prefer morrowind over oblivion just because it has a stronger setting. Yes there are tricks in that game that can load you up with some of the best gear will little to no work but you had to find them in game yourself the first time or you read a cheat sheet so you get what you deserve.

It isn't like Morrowind was even the first one either though guys so I wouldn't worry. As soon as bethesda stops wasting it's time on milking fallout 3 (soon I hope) they will go back to the elder scrolls games.

TES IV, was one of the greatest games I've ever played. It was just wow..the gates to oblivion did piss me off to a poiint where I'd rush through the main story so I woulldn't have to see another. And speaking of Fallout is really a good game too and can help pass time while you wait for TES, but Bethesda has announced Fallout: New Vegas...so...we'll see.
