You do know that most guys that pay for the entire date think they should get something in return.
I try but most of the girls i date know this and forcefully pay for their part.

It is really annoying when girls dont know when to shut up, some peace and quiet can do a date well.

Shutting up isn't something to be done easily when it comes to women O_O
Its like telling a guy to sit with his legs, closed.

So you try to pay sometimes, are you expecting something?

No i try to pay because i was brought up being told it is the right thing to do. you know chivalry.
I had not even thought about it that way untill we had this class at school about that kind of stuff.
You know i looked at my legs when i read that, and you are deffinitly right

Umm, that's pretty much all guys. The guys who come off as socially competent are just EXTREMELY over exerting, and if you start going steady with them, you will see them become much much much less sociable because they will feel they don't need to impress you as much.

For real... I don't get it. It's not like you get scored on how many words you can speak in a minute. It's the nature of who you are. We humans are not walking dictionaries, we don't have a story for every occasion, so sometimes u just gotta take it easy and take in the world. \

Girls call it socially akward, guys call it being mellow or "Down to earth". I think it's a TV syndome of the 21st century. When people see TV, you see all the peeps talking with their complicated "Well thought out" scripts, and people just assume that everyone should be able to have really deep and complexly amazing comversations all the time in real life. LAWL ok.

If you don't enjoy just spending time with the person you like, and you feel that you half to be a over exerted butterfly, then either you are worried that the person you are with won't accept you for who you are, or you just aren't comfterable with the person. If that doesn't change after the first few dates, then odds are you aren't meant to be together.

Now i'm the kind of person who "Thinks" before they speak. This prevents me from coming off as an "Idiot" By saying something I will regret. Nothing pisses me off more than my "Social butterfly" friend who tells me that I "Shouldnt think before I talk" as if it's a good thing. IMO, the more the person feels they "Half" to speak or say something clever, the more socially akward they really are, because it show's how on self concious they are of themselves. Now people who are just naturally talkative is a different story, I know a few people like that.

It's really a battle of the 2 extremes. On one spectrum. if you are overly quite and un-sociable, you may be shy and "self concious". On the other hand, you had people who talk alot and are social butterflies, but the only reason they put so much effort into talking is because they are afraid of silence and are "self concience as well!" <<< The people who are just trying to have a good time are aren't interested in being "Larger than life" are the people I like to hang out with.

Then you have the perfectly confident people who don't talk "Too much" but don't talk "Too little", they don't really care if they come off as akward, they are just trying to enjoy themselves. These people can be "Mellow, or they can be really Social butterflies just by nature"
