Because Schwartzeneggar is the man! He ain't no girlie man, believe me...Other than that, he is a moderate and a very sensible person...He actually would be a better candidate than almost all of the ones currently running...Too bad he can't run for president [yet], as he is not a US native...

Democrat: Clinton (mainly because Bill Clinton would be back in the mix more.) I think Obama is really taking advantage of his "heritage" in a negative way.

Republican: Rudy, although I agree with Kyocool on this, he has a few far-leftish ideas that don't strike me. Also it seems he's riding the "NYC mayor during 9/11" wave just like Obama is riding the "Heritage" wave. And yes, while Clinton is a woman and has that affirmative action type deal going for her I still think she would be the best.

Actually due to the fact that the leading cans for the democrats are an african american and a woman the republicans have an incredibly great chance to take this election. Regardless of what you may think or people may say....the overwhelming majority of people in these united states arent really ready to accept a black or even a woman president yet. So this is a very much open game

There are no guarantees on that...The only thing that is pretty much guarenteed is that no hard-liner from either party is going to win...Moderates (like McCain have the best shot in this election)...

Oh and don't forget, people, in recent polls of approval ratings...Congressional Republicans got a rating of 34%, Democrats 35%, and Bush 39%... ...Pretty much, the American people dislike all of those fat cats on Capital Hill...Remember that...

Hillary has been working through politics in the sidelines and so is very much experienced to handle politics. Obama looks promising too but I think he'd be much better off running in for the next term or two.

I'm waiting to see who makes it through the primaries...I doubt obama or clinton will win... Obama simply because he's admiting to being a Muslim.. (not that there's anything wrong with that) but the ultra conservative types won't let that fly.
Clinton can't win... the US Public isn't ready for a female president yet, not to mention we need to keep Bill away from the interns!
Guiliani would be a good choice, however I doubt that the republicans will get him through the primaries.. he has too many liberalist views.
Too bad Nadar didn't get 5% of the popular vote last election... then they would have had a three way debate... so the american public (who doesn't vote for anything but the presidential - although the president really doesn't have all that much power... the people you really need to get out there and vote for are the reps and the senate...)
It would be nice to have another republican president in office... but it probably won't happen....
It seems like America is dead set on destrying itself from within... sad really.
I'll admit, I voted for Obama for the Senate... I'm glad he won... I think he needed to "pay his dues" before running for president... He's not politically stable enough in his career yet.. I think in 8 years... he's a shoo in for pres.
But not right now.
Maybe the American public will surprise me... who knows... I personally think Leonard Peikoff would be an excellent choice fo president... but he won't ever run... because it's against his philosophy.. which is EXACTLY why we need him.
If any of you have ever read ATLAS SHRUGGED by Ayn Rand... you'd understand why i say this... BTW book worth reading..

My vote is for Hilary because of her experience but I only wish Obama were to be her vice.

The only reason people would vote for him is because of his celebrity.. No one cares if he is suited for the position which is why the elected him governor.

Hey, look who's online. ^_^

I don't know about Obama.
But then again I'm not sure who I'll go for.
*sighs* I'm a total green party nerd so I'll probably lean that way.

edit: i might vote for Rich Whitney if he ran. but nobody knows who he is so whatever.
