Can you take care of yourself?
me--i can..however, i am still under control of my parents and dependent of their money...i just wonder why some people cant take care of themselves---like my friend who always ask me out to accompany her---in the bathroom, in the malls...enrolling..and stuffs that people can do alone..treating me like her 1st class servant..sometimes im pissed, sometimes i find it funny... but she's my friend..so in general it's okay..plus she's always treating me

you can include other circumstances---ie..can you take care of yourself without your parents? friends? alone in a foreign country?defend yourself?

Without parents
sorta. my mom tries to make me dependent on her & i don't like that at all.

Without friends
oh no. human needs a companion in their life (at least one) so they won't go insane alone.

BY myself
i get scared easily alone sometimes, but i believe i can

Take care of yourself:
Without parents
Yeah, sure. They're not doing much for me anyway. I think people who have their parents supporting them with money are lucky. My parents never give me money. I have to pay for my own food, clothing, school tuition, my bills. The only thing that's free is the house we live in. Thank god they're not asking for rent =___=;
Without Friends?
I have never depended on a friend. EVER. I'm usually the one they run to when they're the ones that need money or a place to stay. So I can live fine without them. Just think it would be lonely to be friendless
Defend myself?
Hell no. I can't defend myself. I think I could easily get raped or beat up which isn't something to be proud of. I'm real small and pretty weak. I should really enroll in self defense classes. I can beat up other girls, but never a guy. O_O

I'm 22, recent grad, and can't find a job. So I guess not.

I can...once I get a job.

It stinks like real sh*t, when people turn you down, even fast food restaruants and grocery stores. It makes you wonder your worth as a person.

Not really with out parents.
Without friends.. hell yeah.
To defend myself.. yeah..
All you do is kick the guy in the balls and push his neck wear his breathing connects.. that's where it feels soft and like there's a hole there but you're skin is covering it.
Yeah..

Try factories. They're hiring this time of year, plus they pay REAL well. Don't apply through internet, always go there in person and drop off your resume. Also regarding resumes. You might not be getting hired because your resume sucks. Redo it and get a professional to look through it. Good luck!

P.S
When you go to drop off your resume. Always ask for a manager on duty and hand it to them. It's good to let them see your face and they might even do a mini interview well you're there.

Without Parents?

Not right now for sure. I still didn't graduate. When I graduate then perhaps.

Without Friends?

Friends are nice, but I can take care of myself without them. I've been in all girl schools most of my life. And all of them are rich people who brag about going to NY or HK just to shop. And skipping some class days to go on vacation in other countries. Personally, I can take care of myself. I can be anti-social when I want to. Perhaps without friends I'd be a loner, quiet and boring. But I know I'm not one of those people who'd commit suicide because of that reason.

To Defend Myself?

Pretty much I can. I've practiced hitting some of my guy friends. They end up in pain. But we're all good. We sort it all out on debate and me listening to them talking about their MU and GF(s).

Without parents, no. I don't have money.
Without friends, yeah probably. But I'll be really lonely.
Alone in a foreign country, depending on what you mean by foreign, like if it's a country with a language that I don't speak; that would be bad.
i can fight.
