Just wondering if there are any others on here.

I currently take To Shin-Do. Rough translation: Modern Ninja fighting arts. Laugh all you want. I laughed when I heard about it. However it is in my view one of the most practical, efficient, graceful, and brutal arts I have ever seen/tried. I have tried TKD, abit of Okinawan Traditional, Basic Aikido, and some home brew styles. To Shin-Do beats them all.

What styles have any of you fine Crunchy folks partaken in? Or even wanted to if you havn't.

I am unfamiliar with that style, though it sounds like a traditional hard form. I take it you do allot of striking/blocking?

I'm not currently active. I took karate when I was 12 and studied a bit of a medieval sword fighting technique some time after that. I also have an instruction book on Musou Shinden Ryu (Pure Spirit-inspired Path), which is a Japanese sword discipline that even teaches batoujutsu (attacking from the sheath).

I don't do martial arts.. I don't have the dedication to go through rigid training.. Anyway, if I will fight, I'll probably be at a street thug level lol..

I used to do kick boxing and jiu jitsu but I would of had to go to an adult's class if I wanted to progress.

I've always wanted to learn under Chuck Norris-sensei. Chuck Norris invented his own type of karate. It's called Chuck-Will-Kill. These are just some examples of how powerful a roundhouse kick taught by Chuck Norris can be.

Okay the last two weren't about his roundhouse kicks, but you get the point.
Chuck Norris' roundhouse kicks > anything alive.

Im interested in martial arts but have never tried being in a class. Besides, I'm wanting a real-deal sensei teaching me the arts. I'm really interested in martial arts resembling Ansatsuken (Assassin Fist) or Satsuijinken (Murderer's Fist). It's because I don't have the physique of a martial artist nor even near one. The thing is I can't see my self beating someone up someone (bcoz im too skinny) so iL just kill em quick. I've searched google and the net , but all I get about ansatsuken is that it's only a fiction martial arts style.

There was one I found in TV that interested me as well. The master of the arts was called "The Human Stungun". His arts revolves around impaling a person to sleep.

I drank down a mug of gin in 14 seconds, and threw up everything I consumed in 2.8 seconds.

Currently I am going to Muay Thai and Jun Fan Gung Fu classes. I took Krav Maga and Kenpo Karate for nearly two years before I moved here, and maybe 3 TaeKwonDo classes when I was around 10. Baha

Started aged 4, Tae Kwon Do, Kyokushin Karate then later Kendo and Tai Chi, also some Kung Fu.

I was sort of thrown into it as a child, but it turned out to be something me and my older Brother really enjoyed, done it ever since.

I'm advanced in the sports I do now, and I feel I know enough and want to try new styles. Perhaps some Aikido and Muyai Thai. I think Aikido is awesome, and definitely want to try it when I go to University.
