For every Code Geass Fans out there heres a huge update. Copied from animenewsnetwork.

Bandai's mobile phone website m-pub.channel.or.jp is hosting a graphic that reads as follows:

New Code Geass Project Launch Green-Lit!

Wait for more info in 2010!!

The image adds that this project represents a "rebirth" and that Geass will take a new step starting today. The message is signed with the name, "ZERO."

In the January 2009 issue of Gakken's Animedia magazine, the Sunrise anime studio indicated the possibility of more plans for its Code Geass science-fiction franchise. Sunrise created and animated the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series and its R2 sequel. Sunrise did not indicate the format that any hypothetical future plans might take. The Adult Swim television programming block ran Bandai Entertainment's adaptation of the R2 sequel in North America.

**Update from Anivice**

Sure, Big Windup second season might not make it to North America, but it's still making it to Japan. You know what else Japan gets? All the new Code Geass projects! (Though the likelihood of licensing there does seem better.)

Anime!Anime! has announced that amidst the bonus extras on the DVD for Code Geass's Kiseki no Birthday event (which took place in early December), there shall be footage of the new Code Geass project. But...what project is that? I mean, sure, it could be "footage" of mangaka creating the new Shikkoku no Renya manga, but hey, it could also be footage of a new anime project, too, so...hm.

Of course, this DVD is coming out in April, so hopefully we'll have gotten announcements of a couple more of these new projects. But in any case I'm pretty sure they've just clinched quite a few added sales in Japan...

hopefully i hold goodNEWS!!!!!!!!!THERE IS GOIN TO BE A CODE GEASS R3 NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT OF A NEW CODE GEASS PROJECT 2010
It has not been confirmed if or if not Lelouch is dead, but the writer probably intended for him to be dead since they are moving on with the Code: Geass series. Bandia and Sunrise announced for a new Code: Geass project due in 2010. This new project will be called New Code Geass manga announced: Shikkoku no Renya. It will be taking place in the Edo period on Japanese history. Returning characters will be C.C. and an unknown character who closely resembles Lelouch. A brand new main character will also be named Renya. Renya has a mechanical arm that can fire 100 shuriken. This project is mentioned to be the REBIRTH. This would consist with the other series REBELLION and R2= REVOLUTION. This new series will first be featured as a manga in Shonen Ace and will most likely have an anime adaptation.
