If it's like the original, then it possibly has the same effect as always. Lousy plot (or no plot whatsoever), Bella still going to be a Mary-Sue, the sparkles might be added more then blood... Yeah, I would still dislike Twilight, even if it made into manga.

I'm pretty sure that (the film, at least) is already popular in Japan. I do a language exchange with a Japanese girl my age (14) and she says that she and her friends love Twilight.... she's waiting for the latest movie to get cheaper to rent so she can watch it.
