I rarely talk here outside WWE news but this is big news. Already Ring Of Honor [ROH], the 3rd biggest American company airs shows on select channels on Mondays at 8PM, which prompted WWE to scout it more and sign away talent like Bryan Danielson.

This weekend on SPIKE TV for the Ultimate Fighter finale for the UFC [Ultimate Fighting Championship-Mixed Martial Arts and another competitor for viewers], Hulk Hogan announced that he will debut on TNA Impact that will air live on one of possibly many planned head to head spots with the WWE's RAW on Monday, January 4, 2010!

TNA is #2 largest in America for wrestling and recently signed Hogan and Eric Bischoff, and President Dixie Carter is now promoting this as the return of the WWE/WCW Monday Night Wars. If you count ROH similar to the old ECW there's lots of wrestling being presented on Jan.4 to see [and not even counting regular TV shows or sports on that night either-though no NFL Monday Night Football juggernaut since it's done for the season by then].

WWE has yet to book a guest host who now could be crucial to draw viewers that night. The plan to book the Rock at the moment hit a snag due to the Rock being busy on a promotional tour for his movies like Planet 51 and the Tooth Fairy. Yet don't discount yet a Rock vs. Hogan host rematch of sorts.

TNA Impact plans to go from 8PM-11PM so for now they got an early start, but RAW might again change to a 3 hour show too to counterattack among many possible plans.

So poll-wise give your input on the topic of what you'll watch and why on January 4! Enjoy!

Well i'll be watching Raw seeing we only get WWE shows here now.

My thoughts on this are that TNA have made a mistake by coming out and saying they'll run directly against the WWE.I say this is cause if history has proven anything when they get challenged they lift the product which hopefully will happen this time.

But boy oh boy this i feekl won't be a one of thing some how.

I'll probably watch TNA over Raw (unless it's WWE in general(Raw, Smackdown, ECW)) because I love watching Christy Hemme, Tara, and ODB wrestle in TNA ring (Damn, ODB turns heel ). Those three are my favorite. I don't have any favorite wrestler on RAW, on Smackdown, I have John Morrison / Johnny Nitro, and on ECW, I have Christian
