In the distant land of the once proud empire of the crown, the ruins of England stand, the capitol, London, now harbors only a few of the Survivors, and the outskirts into the unknown habited by monsters and beasts. The Big Ben tower still stands, but crumbling into ruin, the clock long since stopped function. Collapsed building with growing tree and plants provide the few remaining some shelter frothe bitter Winter.

*After walking straight for half a day, the group soon left the desert, there were less and less monsters. Though the sand still remained in the scenery, a glimpse of vegetation would be seen among crumbling stone buildings.*

*It was the land of ruins, a desolated place where one would only see one or two wanderers passing throught but never to stay. Still, the ruins weren't as dead as the wastes, one just needed to look up the sky to see the diference, to see clear blue sky filled with birds, their songs representing wild life.*

*Far away, snow-covered mountains adorned the landscape.*

Shrödinger walks ahead alone, looking at the charred remains of the shops and restaurants and the houses he grew up with, the land he loved so dearly, Now a crumbled ruin, fading glory. he stops and looks up at an old, warm building, the text faded but readable, it says ; 'Granny Millington's Daycare and Orphanage' He kneels on the ground in front of it and stares silently "I grew up here, this was the only home I ever knew, it feels like im going home, But never really home, just so faded....its all I ever really knew, before they took me away, and I never found my way back........." he sits for awhile, staring, remembering. "As I grew older I went to the bar down the street, the man always made people comfortable and put
the rugby channel on, and gave every poor man a drink on the house to get through the day....His old wife always greeted me and gave me my favorite fish and chips that she never let me pay for....Her grandaughter, Marie, was quite beautiful and smart...golden hair, green eyes, every guy shouted for her, but I always caught the glances she threw at me and her rare smiles when I snuck Money into the cash register to pay when Granny wasn't looking, because I never believed in free lunch......."

*Aspy approached Shrödinger silently, not waiting to disturb the private moment. She watched the town, ruined but still beautiful in its own way.*

"What is left of the past are only precious memories and a sensation of lost." *Her white eyes went from the town to the orphanage, she could clearly imagine the scenary the cat boy was recalling as if she were living in an illusion though the figures where blurred.*

"You had a family here, never forget that." *She turned to Shrödinger, a warm and conforting sxpression on her face.* "However, never forgert that you have a family in the present too."

*he smiles brightly and nudges her playfully* o'course I wouldn't forget you, Isis, embrode, and the others...its just been so long, since World War 2 and Omaha beach, and the conflicts and times since then....even longer since the Industrial Revolution....and even longer since.....the time I wouldn't like to remember" He closes his eyes for a moment, fragments of memories come here and there.

*Aspy smiled back.* "Yeah, even I remember those times but as a spectator, not a protagonist. I am not good at involving myself directly even if somethine I want to. In the end, everything got blurred at the World's End and then,... Eden." *She chuckled absently at her own thoughts.*

"When Eden surfaced and the world was born anew I though 'This time, maybe it wouldn't be bad to be a protagonist too' "

He smiles at her with his golden eyes "Its never too late to be somebody, but I've seen you always as somebody important." He smiles a bit, looking to the end of town due west. "Aspy, could we go somewhere here? I need you to help me with something....in a lab...." He motions to the outskirts....

"A lab?" Isis asks, delighted and appaled," We get to play with a doggie?". Her crystaline voice floats throuh the air like a delicious small, reverberating slowly in the ruins. She skips forward, delighted to be wandering around with the group through this wonderous maze of mystery.

*Aspy turned her crimson eyes to the outskirts looking fat away before nodding with a light smile,* "Sure, just guide me to the place. Honestly, and here I though I was doing just fine without my usual scientist questioning and you go and tempt me while I least expected it."

"However, It's always a pleasure to be useful."

*Aspy blinked at the strange relation between the word 'lab' with a 'doggie' and chuckles lightly.*

"This place is a bit too desolated if you want to play with domesticated pets, dogs, cats, birds,... even those aren't what they used to be." *She thought absently while walking behind the cat-boy.*

"The thing that most resembles a dog now is the so called 'cerberus' and they are usually not domesticated. However, though I hate to admit it, even they are kind of cute when as puppies."

"Ceberus..... Isis does not play well with the guardians of the dead." she whisper calmly, somehow more calmed now as she walks forward, curiou eyes winding to and fro.She smiles though as her legs tred forard, waiting for Aspy and Shro to catch up.

the cat boy smiles and walks on "Not doggies or three headed beasts....more like failed experiments. they should be gone by now...I think..." the group walks on, arriving at a large, moss covered building named Crysis laboratories. Shrödinger opens the door, revealing darkness inside

*Aspy raised an eyebrown at Shrödinger* "...you think,..." *She chuckled and walked ahead inside the lab, her white eyes seeing through the darkness without much problem.* "One can never be so sure then."

"Now Isis. don't get too separated from us. I don't mean only inside this building, even if I know you would take care of youself quite fine."

*She snapped her fingers, the sound echoed in the empty corridors, and suddenly the darkness was lifted to reveal white walls and many doors at the sides.*

He walks in after her, his eyrbrows raising when she lifts the darkness "Now that is amazing..." he walks on, stopping at a large vaulted door with a keypad
