G-dragon in hot water for the Shine A light concert
Posted 12/11/09
If he want too do stuff like then it should be a 19 and up concert. That the problem with stars. They wanna the money that kids have but wannabe grown ups and then they get mad when they get in hot water. If you wannabe a man banned kids from your shows and then you can't get in trouble.

The knife thing creepy me f*** out. Just when i started to like him. Now he is gonna be chasing after me with knife trying to kill me in my dreams. Thanks G Dragon

? Why 19+ ?
Is he a bady or what ?
They should see Live performances of Rammstein =D
They have real sex on the stage .... iiihh ...

I don't know why everyone's like "OMG why did he do that?" or "ewww that's disgusting" cause like, he's older and it would be a shame if he didn't get to explore different music. The album is rated 19+ so it should not be a problem, little girls buying it, than it's just their fault, in my opinion that is. I support G Dragon cause he's still awesome!! One little "mistake" isn't gonna do anything.

Personally I think GD deserves his number one spot on the "Number 1 overrated singer/songwriter".

I don't know ... something about him makes me not like him. He's like a little boy, to me he's trying act all bad, hardcore, and gangster.
Not working for me. And this "sex on stage" thing is just another desperate attempt from him to be more bad, hardcore, and gangster.

G-Dragon you have totally outdone yourself.
What is it about young people feeling that they
need to create an over-sexualized image to
prove thier adult-like growth in the industry.

Honestly, he isnt doing anything that anyone else
in the industry does, but this was quite extreme.

B2K did a lot of sexualized things in thier concert
performances and even while promoting thier
album,

recently Miley Cirus party in the usa
was performed on stage with her dancing on a pole,
the list goes way back and can go on. (notice the
fan's shocked reaction to her performance).

Question becomes is it right? The Company needs
to bare in mind the target audiences. Just because
you have an artist that decides that he is grown up
does not remove him from the responsibility of
maintaining the image of decency in line with the
majority of the target audience. Honestly girls at that
age already have a slightly sexualized view of Celebrities
under the idea of "SEX-SYMBOL" there is no need to
push beyond limits and leave barely anything to the
imagination.

The whole killing at the end was a bit much for me
and quite unnecessary and graphic. There needs to
be a line that is drawn in order to balance the will
of the artist and the respect of the viewer/consumer.

At the end of the day G-Dragon your a grown man now
right? Take responsibility and act like one, and set a manly
example. lol or else when you have a daughter you may
end up twice as disgusted with who ever she ends up
enjoying as a male entertainer.

Society is horrid I tell you...

Thank you for making mention of that... so adding to my previous commentary it is not the company's fault nor the artist. The warning is made, but maybe they need to regulate tickets to the performances like a rated R movie. lol But I still believe there needs to be some tastefulness on behalf of the artist in considering that they know girls who aren't supposed to have the album are the largest consumers.

He is very hardcore, bad and ganster too underage girls.

I pretty sure if the kids parents knew he was gonna fake sex act on stage and kill a woman on stage(which freak me f** out)they wouldn't have never let there kids gonna to the show. It's sad to see that music is about how slutty you can be or how much you can act ass and not how talented you are.

Exactly. I liked the "regular" GD - with regular outfits and regular styles. I think ever since Gaga made it big, he's been leaning towards that style. He's not exactly "thug material" - trying to be cute yet thug/hardcore at the same time is fail.

I thought the stabbing part didn't really need to be in there . . . It was kind of useless. I would have been fine with just his singing, no need for an extra, but if other people liked it then. . . sure. Keep it?

The so called "sex scene" was also uneeded. If he just left out the bed, then I think there would be less of a problem, maybe.

I really think the netizens are just TRYING to make it a big deal, seriously. I could care less how an artist organizes his/her show and his/her style unless it was really smart and cool. I think GD wanted to try the idea at least instead of holding back and have his performances to be like everyone else's.
I'm not saying it WAS his idea, just a hypothesis.

I hope he ends his Lady Gaga Dragon phase and keeps his hair black forever.

I agree with queenofneworleans. He seriously doesn't need to dye his hair blonde ever again... It looked horrid...

I hate the fact that GD is getting punished for expressing himself as an artist. A concert is one of the ways that singers get to express themselves. And I know one of the reasons he's getting in trouble because of the fact that kids as young as 12 were there. Okay look, that shouldn't be his fault that the parents decided to buy the tickets for their kids and take them knowing that the "Heartbreaker" CD got labeled as unfit for anyone under the age of 19. So shouldn't that have rang a bell to them as to why their 12 yr old probably shouldn't go to the concert? Yes, maybe the people how were prompting the concert along with YG and GD should have been like "Hey maybe we shouldn't let anyone under the age of 17 come to the concert." But alot of it still goes down to the parents because no 12 yr old would be able to afford to buy their own ticket and get there on their own.

The whole bed scene during "Breathe" is hot, in my opinion. Aimee Lucas is a lucky girl getting to have GD up on her like that. I actually wasn't all that surprised to see that though because if you read the lyrics you know the bed would come into play. Especially being that he used a bed during one of his live performances minus the girl.

But he is also getting in trouble for performing "Korean Dream" and "She's Gone" which were the songs that made his CD unfit for anyone under 19. (Funny how Breathe wasn't one of the reasons being that the lyrics for that one is more explict then the other two. At least I think so.) And that goes back to having 12 yr olds there. The video played for "She's Gone" kind of confused me because I thought that the songs was about the girl OD-ing. Because the reason "She's Gone" was "unfit" was because of the "alleged" drug use in the song. But if you are going to punish GD for that then we should have punished Lady GaGa for her performance that the VMAs. Which one is worse? A live concert or a live broadcast being seen throughout the country?

Unfortunately YG has decided to either edit or exclude scenes the concert for the DVD. Which I think it's unfair. Because I know that there are alot of GD fans that would like to see the concert the way it was performed. But it's not going to happen... Enough of me rambling on but I got pissed when I first read this days ago and just seeing this topic made me get pissed all over again.
