hey guys,
In case you missed last weeks announcement, we've been busy gather drama from all over asia for you!
from now until end of the year, we'll be launching multiple new titles every week... crunchyroll is now your official source for anime & drama!

if you are wondering, this week we've launched Couple or Trouble, and Hotelier, and many more titles. Of course all titles will be available for free streaming to everyone, geographic availability depending on licensing restrictions.

We will also be launching a Drama Membership plan next week! As a Drama Member, you'll get higher quality videos (480p), and no advertising. So please support Crunchyroll and the licensors and get a Drama membership next week!

In case you are wondering about pricing, we'll announce it next week.. don't worry existing Anime Members will get special savings =D.

So stay tuned, and thanks again for all your support -_-

~ shinji

I agree with Qoureno launch the drama membership thing when you get moreover 20 titles.... Cause, it would be a major rip off to those who will buy it :|

Oh, great seems Crunchyroll's trying to attract more people who are into Drama here.Won't be funny if people there will complain about ''Why the fuck can't I watch any Drama here even if I bought a star''

Yeah, guys blame the region restriction about trying to rip you off, but not not Crunchyroll.

If its anything like the Anime membership, its two weeks free trial before even being charged for the membership, which is plenty of time for each member to find out if there is enough value in the membership to them to justify paying the price.

I don't watch any of the drama and am not likely to ever do so - but it makes sense to give people the opportunity to pay for memberships if they want to, which will finance the acquisition of more drama, without raiding the Anime membership revenues to do so. And that is, of course, the only real way to answer the request to "get more drama".

Just like earlier this year, during the spring season, there was only one anime I was watching regularly (a back catalog series at that), so I didn't bother buying an Anime membership, and then by summer season there were two or three, and partway through the season I decided to try it out. And now there's half the Japanese fall broadcast season streaming at the site, and I have more series than I can keep up with sitting untouched in my watchlist waiting for Christmas vacation.
