Not that this applies to me, but what if someone is willing to pay to see one of those few shows that happens to be available in their region or they simply want to donate money to the cause? Instead of preventing people from signing up, you guys should display a notice at checkout informing those individuals of their potentially limited access.

I agree with mozychan. Why not let the user make the ultimate decision about whether a membership is worth it? That said, it's great that you're trying to ensure people don't waste their money due to region restrictions.

It will be useless for anyone outside of North and South America to have Drama Membership at this point in time. I say "a few" will be available but it may end up being 0 depending on what country they are from. So far, I only know of RH Plus being available overseas and that's only available in the UK.
That said, I don't know whether the restriction will apply to gift memberships but I'm sure we'd be able to work with people individually if they really want to purchase the membership.

Can you plan a "Super" Drama membership for us where we can watch that drama even if that drama is region lock in the area. That way, there are people who will buy "that" membership where it will by-pass the region lock system.
This can also be apply to anime membership.
I won't mind paying for that type of membership where it will by-pass the region lock system.
